Now my children are a bit older and the ex has them all weekend every other weekend I'm back out raving again

I stopped going to raves as a punter the mid 90s. I think I'd feel quite out of place at one now. I still like listening to the old classics, though:

You'd be surprised Bagpipes, I'm 33 and started in '94, still plenty of the older generation left - I went to Hardcore Heaven in Bournemouth on my own a week ago and had one of the best nights ever!
