According to wikipedia there is a deluxe version, with 2 new tracks produced by redone, and 3 acoustic versions of other songs on the album.

Absolutley agree with that. I felt like wringing my head in my hands listening to it.
Nothing special at all. The 90's sounding tracks sound dated. And for those people who say that ballads and slower songs are dated they're just lying to themselves. Ballads are back and they're more 'in' than ever. The one slow song in the album sounded like a Whitney b-side. Sorry. It's the truth. She should've included a ballad done during the actual recording of the album not a song written as an 18 year old. RCA have really messed it up for her. She was NEVER an executive producer because, for one, a collaboration would've been on the album as she was talking of collaborations since the recording began. I have to say I am relieved that David G. is not on the album. |

BIG change of heart since listening to the previews a few times. Really embracing her new sound now. So relieved!

I love 'Fire', 'Oh La La', 'Tonight' and 'What Money Can't Buy'. Can't wait for the full tracks. I'm really excited for this album. I hope she has some bass break downs in the uptempo tracks to spice the whole album up. It's shaping up to be a very good pop album, though, that's for sure

Album sounds okay, a mix of The Saturdays album and Kelly Rowlands.

My favourite tracks judging solely based on the album sampler would be ; Between the Sheets, Heartbreak on Hold, Fire & Oh La La.

Having listened to the samples I'd say the ones that caught my attention and have made me a little curious are "Fire", "Between The Sheets" and especially "What Money Can't Buy". The others, I'm sad to say, don't excite me or make me eager for the album at all. They sound pretty generic and on the same level as Elephant and Let It Go (which I used to love but got very bored very quickly).
Anyway that's just my opinion. Alexandra is massively talented and deserves a lot of success, so I hope this album brings that for her! I think this album has a more European appeal than a worldwide appeal though. I'm also really disappointed that there is only one ballad. Alexandra's voice truly shines on ballads like The Silence and What Money Cant Buy. |

I actually prefer her dancier songs, i feel like her voice is so versatile, that she can kind of emulate what past divas before her have done (Whitney, Donna Summer) and do a mix of really dancey songs mixed in with a ballad every so often to remind people how big her voice is.
But I do agree with what Carly_Thompson said there should have been a few more ballads. |

I think Fire could because great European song (based on the snippet, may sound different in full). I really wanted Alex to experiment with some edgy sounds though. Something a bit like the sound Rita Ora is going for, as I think Alexandra's voice would really stand out on that kind of sound. I may still buy Heartbreak On Hold because the girl is one of our best singers and does have potential, so I support that! |

I have listened to the album sampler right through a few times now, and can I just say that after those play throughs, I am really loving the sound of the album. I love how it's mianly dancey but has a few ballds (which she does brilliantly).
Excluding the two singles Elephant and Let It Go, I would say the song that I'm most liking the sound of at the moment are: Fire, Heartbreak On Hold, Ooh La La, Between The Sheets & Daylight Robbery. Roll on June 4th. |
