I love the album sampler. Heartbreak on Hold, Fire and Oh La La and What Money Can't Buy are the standouts for me. The last one particularly because Alex is releasing some serious vocals on it, that'll shut the critics up who moan about her never using her voice to its full power.

Oh La La reminds me a little of Jennifer Lopez, not a bad thing!

Heartbreak on Hold or Fire could easily both be summer smashes but it will need the airplay and a huge video to carry either track! I hope the album version of Let It Go has the cool dub-step breakdown at the end, I wanna own a HQ version with the breakdown!

Totally agree! I also love her vocals on Heartbreak On Hold (Acoustic)....this album is going to be on loop for me all summer I think

'Shut up the critics', oh dear, you say that as if it's a cardinal sin to say anything remotely critical about her. Ever heard of a thing called constructive criticism? As in people are criticising her because they want her to improve, not just being negative for the sake of it?

I think they meant the people who mindlessly say that 'oh she can't sing' or 'she's lazy and doesn't use her voice' that seem to be thrown around all the time....when she clearly isn't.

In any case I'm really looking forward to this album....it sounds amazing from the previews and has a great album cover too...I'm happy.

Wow the previews sound better than I expected. I love the 90's dance anthemv feel on the tracks and her vocals sound really strong on it. What song is it that "Oh La La" samples?

I am obsessed with these previews, need to hear this album in full!

Let It Go is out in Ireland now. Just bought it Really looking forward to this album. I never bought Overcome but I probably should. Should I get the original or re-release of Overcome?

3 extra tracks, music videos too. Oh and yeah they're single mixes. ANL...they ruined Rico Love's magic. BH is shorter and The silence...awful it has church bells in it whereas the original doesn't and they vocally re-recorded it. I can tell she doesn't do the mid-falsetto thing on the single mix and her belt isn't as raw. It just doesn't have the emotion that the original does

The vocals are exactly the same. They just added a piano to the second verse and some extra instruments and a choir to it. Her belts are turned down a bit and drowned out by the choir but that's it.

The best version of The Silence is the demo, that is the emotional one.

What Happens On The Dancefloor and Before The Rain are personal favourites of mine from the re-release...Perfect is also great

Got an email from Play saying that the payment for my order - for a singed copy of Heartbreak On Hold - had been declined.

I wasn't shocked about that as I knew I had next to nothing in my account, I was shocked to have had that email. They had tried to process my order almost a week ahead of the album's release date. That's what surprised me.

I could have been listening to her new album in full a few days before release. But now I will probably get either on day of release or day after as I get paid on Friday due to the bank holiday.

What Happens On The Dancefloor sounds good. Not keen on the ballads though.
