i like sitting on top of the world, between the sheets, love you that much (some parts she sounds like beyonce though) and heartbreak on hold.

Alex has grown soooo much on this album and its finally good to hear someone in the industry that actually knows what they want in an album and doesnt just fill it with generic rubbish that is copying everyone else

I really like Let It Go. Can't believe it's already dived down to #50 on iTunes. Woah.

I agree...the album still has the personality of Overcome, but Alexandra has clearly evolved her sound, and the album sounds more mature and developed in sound to me.

Sarcasm? This album is as musically as generic as it gets.

I really love Heartbreak On Hold the song, it's a different perspective on a club track and different from what other UK females are doing....I love the retro synths/effects on the middle-8....so glad she didn't go down the generic copycat route like Tulisa, Jessie J, Cheryl etc....she's found her own sound and it really works for her.

The album has an amazing flow and it should of been edited like how Madonna's confessions leads from one song to another

Same here....my current top 5 is:

1.Heartbreak On Hold
2.Fire
3.Beating Still
4.Tonight
5.Daylight Robbery....

But it will change....I'm so impressed with the entire album though. The only song I don't really like is Love You That Much.

Sitting top of the world suprised me as it is by REDONE and i never got a REDONE vibe from it

I adore the Burkeatron. I liked Overcome...although apart from the hits, most of the album just didn't/doesn't flow. Heartbreak On Hold on the other hand, after two full listens is a strong pop record, uplifting from start to finish, and probably one of the best commercial pop albums ive had the pleasure of owning for quite a few years! Brilliant stuff!

Oh La La is the RedOne song apparently.....SOTOTW is done by someone else....I'm not sure the full liner notes are out there yet, so the credits will probably come officially next week...

Oh maybe not
Wiki said it was yesterday (i know, not reliable site) but i have gone back and it's been edited to say someone else produced it.

Hmmm.....but whoever produced it, I'm really impressed with the production. I know for sure that Michael Woods produced Daylight Robbery, who worked with Example on Change The Way You Kiss Me, but in general the production is really great. I was also really impressed with the title track production on first listen too...

I instantly loved the title track. It's a good way of starting the album off.

Agreed....I love how the start of it doubles as the album intro as well as she belts 'heartbreak on hooooold'....it really kicks things into gear for me.

I really like the 'not gonna let this pain take over me' part of HoH. It's really distinguished and makes the song more enjoyable.

Currently my fourth favourite album of my collection which has really surprised me as I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I have. Although I warmed to the previews on YouTube eventually, sometimes they have the opposite effect. Some people who listened to the previews and weren't impressed, therefore won't buy the album will be missing out and it's a shame.
