No idea who she is? Daughter of Alan Coren (brother of Giles), professional poker player, ex-porn reviewer, Observer columnist, BBC4 quiz show host (the excellent Only Connect) and engaged to the very, very lucky David Mitchell.

Odd pairing that, she's quite butch and he's quite effeminate.

Well I love Victoria, not so keen on Grace, but I'm reasonably sure they both had jobs before Twitter, and I can't think of anyone less deserving of the aggressive phrase "mafia" then Victoria's always polite Tweets.

Enjoyed the show. Kirsty has a suited style as host and hidden depth of fun and can be dirty, or so it seems. Don't know why Greg was determined to defend the BBC for the appallingcoverage of the Jubilee, unless it coincides with any contract negotiations.

Indeed, how very dare he, offer an alternative view, an opinion that differed from others ?

I haven't seen Ian so enthusiastic, personally I'd rather suffer an hour of John Barrowman interviewing Tess Daly than listen to a a boatful of bagpiping Arabs.

The story about the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games staff being taught how to be polite seemed to have non-plussed the panel, not surprising, I never seen the story on TV or any of the Papers. The whole week has been dominated by Het Lubijee.

Kirsty Young is a really beautiful woman and a right little sexpot to boot. I thought it would be hard to find a woman that leaves Victoria Coren in the shade but she did manage it.

Greg Davies and Victoria Coren added to the fun with good asides and Paul Merton seemed in a cheerful mood this week.

The best episode of the season perhaps?

TV nepotism does annoy me though, Dan Snow most of all, and now he's married to the Duke of Westminster's daughter as well the lucky git, some people seem to sail through life.

As she and Hislop are in the same line of business it would be surprising if they weren't aquainted, and if he does have some regard for her, that would suggest that she may be more than merely a "coat tail hanger".

I've never seen her begin proper names with lower case letters.

Kirsty Young was brilliant - brains, looks and a dirty sense of humour. I think I'm in love

I imagine she likes.....and gets plenty of the former.

Love hearing that super smooth accent peppered with the odd 'Fack' or 'Fack orrrf'.

Super Sex Bomb!

Just a heads up for when the Have I Got a Bit More News for You broadcast of this episode is on, as I would expect people to be a least slightly interested in what extra footage will be on considering this week's normal edition was extended to 40 minutes anyway, and also because it seems to be on at different times in each country:

Monday on BBC One

10.35pm in England/on BBC One HD
11.05pm in Wales
11.35pm in Scotland
11.40pm in Northern Ireland

Fack, FACK ?

She is Scottish, educated and has perfect diction and knows how to pronounce the F word correctly, with a U.

[ although they did bleep it out for some reason ]

I thought she was looking her age though, getting a bit wrinkly now.
Sorry Kirsty but off you go to my Mature But Still Hot Hornbag section, along with Ruth from This Morning, Carol McGiffin and Kirsty Wark.

He didn't defend them. When a clip of it was shown, he agreed it was crap. He obviously hadn't watched it, as he wasn't interested in the Jubilee.

His scrap with Ian was over what Ian regarded as Greg's sneering view of those attending the pageant (a view which was frankly right, if the people they showed on the news were at all typical).

I've always considered her one of the more womanly women. I don't think effeminate is quite the right word for him, but I do know what you mean there. I feel the jokes on Would I Lie to You that make him out to be a complete loser where the ladies are concerned, are somewhat undermined by his hooking up with Victoria.

(I admire them both (and follow both on Twitter), and I'm actually kinda pleased that they're finding happiness with each other.)

Hmm - I once told a woman she was "womanly".

I won't do it again!

I love HIGNFY but have to say I didn't like the jokes about Prince Phillip's blader infection I thought them to be very tastless having seen how badly my late father suffered from bladder infections it's not some thing to make fun of.

Is the repeat supposed to be the exact same showing as Friday this week or another edit?

(Potentially, there could be 3 edits of this particular show available to Dave, if Monday's repeat is different!

The original BBC One showing of 40 mins, the 45 mins one shown tomorrow & if Dave request a 30 min 'standard length' show, that too!)

I'm hoping tomorrow's showing is the same as the 40 mins & the Beeb put extra trails in to fill the time!
