I'm not sure it would be particularly 'full of fat' as the mars bar itself won't absorb the fat. I have seen deep fried pizza which certainly did look saturated with fat and theres no way I'd have tried one.

My fryer does give a recipe, but since I find a normal mars bar pretty sickly I'll give it a miss - though as mentioned above a bounty might be worth a go - maybe just in bite size chunks...

No, never, just don't fancy one at all and am pretty sure I'd hate it.

I'm Scottish and pride myself on the fact that I would never eat what has seemingly become our 'local delicacy'

However there is a side of me which says 'never say never'....and I think the deep-fried ice-cream (also available in Scotland) does sound quite nice.

I have tried it (shared one in a restaurant) and it was fine to a point but I would think that many people would perhaps struggle to finish a whole one.

Now, this idea of deep fried ice cream does sound appealing - anyone for deep fried ice cream Mars Bar?

Had one (snickers) in Walt Disney World (Downtown Disney, Irish Takeaway) and the batter was like a doughnut batter, sweet and soft and it was amazing! Came on a stick

If they are made with fish batter I'd imagine it would be very hard and not very nice
