As the title suggests, I'm curious as to What the First Single and Album you ever brought was. Thought it might be an interesting discussion.

My first single was In Your Eyes by Kylie Minogue.

My first album was Fever by Kylie Minogue.

I Feel Fine by the Beatles and a Searchers greatest hits LP (on the Marble Arch label, if there's anyone old enough to remember that!).

My first single was Boyzone I think. 'When the Going gets tough.'

First album was Madonnas 'American Life'. Still a favourite of mine.

When I was younger people used to buy music for me. I didn't have that much though. First album I ever owned was Steps 'Step One'. The only cassette I've ever owned.

The first vinyl single I bought was "In The Army Now" by Status Quo.

The first CD album I bought was "Immaculate Collection" by Madonna.

I didn't buy any vinyl albums as they were expensive and I usually got them for birthdays and Xmas.

My first album was either Shakira - Oral Fixation Vol. 2 or Amy Winehouse - Back to Black. It was around the same time I got these albums but unsure which one I bought first.

first single Spice Girls - Wannabe

first album Spice Girls - Spice
Snap!

I bought 'Wannabe' in Woolworths when it came out (I remember the cover of the CD and wondered why it was plain white apart from in the middle). I was very young and excited!

And 'Spice' was the first album that I remember owning. I assume that I bought it, but I could have also received it for Christmas.

First album was Kings of the Wild Frontier by Adam and the Ants. It still gets an airing now and again. Not sure about the first single though.

Showing my age here!

First single was Fireball by Deep Purple.

First album was Passion Play by Jethro Tull. It cost the princely sum of £2.39. I still have it too!

I have a feeling it was "Rhythm of Love" by Kylie Minogue. I can't remember what my first single was.
