heh I swear to God I never read this thread when I posted it elsewhere. I love Vienna, in my opinion it's the greatest song never to get to number one. Bloody Tommy Dolche!

I was watching a band aid documentary and immediatly thought G4 would do a great accapella version of Vienna and also I think they could go a great Dont Like Mondays rendition.

The main thing that annoys me is that theyre an acapella band yet Louis seems incapable of realising that acapella means without acompanyment. STOP USING A BACKING TRACK!

YES! That's it, the backing tracks are ruining it. All we need is their sound, it's so rich and full you need nothing more. Or if they must have backing something simple, just percussion or a piano or guitar or harp or something.

Also, I don't Like Mondays is a FABULOUS choice! If there is any justice G4 Will record an album without the aid of Mr Walsh, and they will look to this thread for songs (and there will be a very large booklet with many photos of Jon...ahem).

That's an excellent choice I think ZipGypsy.

I was watching the Madonna Frozen video earlier on today, so it's fresh in my mind and can imagine it to be a decent choice for G4.

I know G4 are more than capable,..but Louis is just trying to be too clever.
Just pick the best songs Louis,..you stubborn knobend. Just accept that G4 can probably make better choices than what you can.

Thing is, I think Louis is a stubborn idiot.

I don't think his ego would be able to handle someone picking a song that's a better choice than anything he can.

He would probably reject anything suggested to him, as he may feel it's a defeat on his part.

Imagine how crap Louis would look if it came out that some people on a forum chose the songs for him. Very embarassing reflection on his own ability.

As I said in another thread, Louis continually makes jibes at Simon for not having any expert knowledge.
Now that's rich coming from Louis.
Louis seems to know about managing boybands, and it seems that anything outside of that scope he doesn't know much about at all.
Not versatile.

But Simon....
Simon seems to have the ability to be versatile. If something is crap, he can make it work somehow. Past history has shown he knows how to make something sell.
Simon seems to be a better people person than Louis.
Simon seems to have a touch that brings the best out of people whatever they can do.

I think Simon would be able to get the best out of G4 more effectively than Louis.
Simon is handling a singing group similar to G4, and is doing okay apparently.
Wheras Louis is proving that he can't handle anything beyond the scope of his usual "talented" boybands.
