Forgot that she had so many decent songs!

You never hear people talk about her these days maybe because she hasn't released anything for a long time.

Dreams, Sunshine, When a woman, Out of reach and many more great hits she had.

I think she has a new album coming out in about 6 months or so. I think it will be a good one, as she is a great artist!

apparently, she is looking for a september release. `rise` is my favourite of hers. a clever use of a sample, much like the original version of `dreams`.

Yes she has. Her Greatest Hits album is a good buy and it gets regular use out of me.

1993 - 'Find Your Way' is a superb debut album and still gets regular plays. Fave tracks Dreams (classic), I Wish and Find Your Way
1996 - 'Gabrielle' uses aspects of 60s soul and is another solid album especially Give Me A Little More Time, I Live In Hope and Baby I've Changed.
1999 - 'Rise' - her commercial peak and her best album - full of hooks and melody. When A Woman, Rise, Tell Me What You Dream, If You Love Me

Then it goes wrong for her - releases 'Out Of Reach' from awful chick-flick Bridget Jones....is a big hit and it sends her down the tree MOR route. Greatest Hits sells really well and the other new track Don't Need The Sun To Shine is another zzzzz tune. She then waits 3 years (even though the tour book from the Greatest Hits tour says 2002....) gives us.

2004 - 'Play To Win' - an album full of Out of Reaches. She seems to have all the soul sucked out of her....only track I like is Picking Up The Pieces....

then redeems herself with

2009 - 'Always' - a return to her former glories. A huge step up. A breezy summery vibe with some great songs Why (The Rise of the album with Paul Weller instead of Dylan), Heartbreaker, Show Me Love, and wasted b-side Maybe When Tomorrow Comes.

Apart from Play To Win, a great career. Deserves more recognition

She was great. I grew up listening to her. Amazing talent and a great back catalogue.

Her Rise album was stunning.

I would love her to come back. Her Always era wasn't very her I felt so i hope she bounces back.

The closest thing to her at the moment is Rebecca Ferguson.

The only song of hers I remember is Out Of Reach. I've never heard anything else.

'Play to Win' is my favourite album of hers. I still play it quite a lot.
