I can just see Doug knowing deep down that Ste will always feel something for Brendan, but because he likes him so much he puts it to the back of his mind. But everytime he sees Brendan and Ste near each other and feels that heat between them, he feels he's one step further away from Ste

See, this is part of the reason I'm excited The drama will be intense.

The wierd thing is, I'd almost wiped all that out of my mind, because it's not the story I thought it was.

I don't know what it meant, or if it meant anything. I honestly have no clue if anything on the show means anything anymore, or if it's just meant to keep us mildly entertained for 30 mins and then be forgotten about.

The idea that if Doug has always been gay means that he might have always been a woman.

I have heard so many people say that he might as well be a woman/ women put him off sex and now he wants a nice smooth man who understands him.

ES if you want to talk about how great you are being with people who are doubting their own sexuality then you need to talk about what you are doing and how you are basically telling us that women are second best.

They must have Brendan involved in the business for a reason and all the hints of 'Brendan will always be there', it's just bound to create a lot of drama. Plus I can see a lot of it being played from Doug's side of things, the outsider in the complexity that is Ste and Brendan. Noah was so disposable it didn't work. Doug's his own character and we feel for him, and he may be good for Ste but ultimately Brendan's the one Ste can't forget (if they bloody show it finally that is)
