CSI Miami officially cancelled, with CSI NY officially be renewed.

While Unforgettable also cancelled.

Still not 100% confirmed but looks like CSI: NY will be back. Surely they would have announced it at the same time as Miami if it was getting the chop?

Definitely the right decision by CBS.

I'm genuinely surprised that Miami got canned over NY. I would have thought with the syndication and worldwide appeal of the show, it would have survived.

What will become of the Sunglasses of Justice now ?

At least i'll get the wife all to myself now .. heh

Just out of interest (i stopped watching it after Season 5), did Miami end on a cliffhanger or anything? Put it in Spoiler tags if it needs to be.

Miami was my favorite CSI aswell!

Hopefully some of the characters will get transferred to Vegas or NY!

Hopefully Eva La Rue is one of them, so in love with that Woman

So, am i correct in thinking that, thats it for Miami? or is the next series the last?

Miami's long been my favourite part of the CSI franchise, but to be honest, watching this last season I actually think that NY is the one that should continue. Miami's had a great run, but it was probably about time for it to come to a close.

Personally, I'd still probably have kept both and ditched Vegas, but that was never going to happen.

It's done in the US, but there is one season left to air in the UK.

I know they said that they deliberately ended the current season of NY with no cliffhanger, just in case, but I can't honestly think they'd do the same with Miami.

I hope they haven't - i hope it's tied up to an extent, as i'd hate it to be left hanging knowing there's no more.

Can't see why any of the Miami people couldn't guest star in NY - or even Vegas for that matter.

As far as I remember it just ended, no cliffhanger. Same with NY it didn't end on a cliffhanger, but CSI did.

I knew Miami was gone once I had seen that they were ending the season after 19 episodes to put on a new show.
