So when did it become acceptable to knife a team mates sentry gun?

I was doing the call in "x" number of sentry guns daily challenge the other day every single one I called in was knifed in seconds by a random on my side. This wasn't the same guy,this was different matches so not just a lone dick.

Unbelievable behaviour, but then I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by anything on MW3.

Well thats a new one one on me, didn't even think you could take out your own teams sentry guns much in the same way you can't be killed by your own teams bombing runs. If you can then yeah agreed what a fecking idiot/idiots.

Well as you say its a game so I guess people are allowed to play it as they wish but I'm with you, campers annoy the f*ck out of me but your always gonna get em. On the upside its always nice to hunt them down and take them out numerous times in the same game...that really pisses them off

Campers are the ones who are vulnerable.

Someone only has to watch the kill cam to know where they are and then use a grenade, semtex or rocket to blow up from a distance.

I camp sometimes, so I'm going to defend camping.

What part of camping isn't legitimate?

As I said I play to lose as few lives as possible. But I still like to respawn so I don't play Hardcore that much, as once you are out, that's it till the game is over.

My favourite place to camp is in the bedroom of the Estate, I love playing 'King of the Castle', seeing who can stay in the bedroom the longest.

Define camping for me. I find it difficult to use a sniper rifle without first stopping and aiming down sight, taking the shot then moving on but then I get called a camper Yeah it's only a game but a sniper wouldn't run around firing would he. During one game I played I stopped to bring in an assault drone and ended up getting numerous messages from gamer's on the other team calling me a camper lol You can't move around while using an assault drone ffs. Just because I found a corner to sit in while I used my care packages.

If the Devs knew gamer's were going to complain about so called camping then why have challenges for getting kills while prone or whatever. Are we all expected to just run around the maps taking shots and throwing explosives. You can play the game the way YOU want to and to hell with what others think.

I do admit to being baffled last night though, with a few members of my team, @ least 4 of them were all in the same room picking people off as they ran past until someone from the opposite team ended it with a well thrown semtex lol multi-kill and well deserved lol By all means, crouch or go prone but not all in the same place lol

I definitely don't think sniping is camping.

It certainly takes skill to find a hidden spot, take a long shot on an often moving target, then move and find another place to hide without being seen.
They've even made a whole game about sniping. Sniper Elite v2.

I think most people consider finding a corner and sitting in it and then shooting passers by, as camping.

But then people should check their corners if they are worried about campers. Once they are discovered a rocket launcher or grenade normally stops their camping.

I understand that each gamer has their own interpretation of camping but I agree that sniping isn't camping at all and shouldn't be seen as such nor do I understand why scoping is hated. It shouldn't matter how a kill is obtained, as long as you get the kill. what does it matter. There's that many things that gamer's on modern 3 hate. there are no definite rules to the game so why all the complaints.

Well to take it to its extreme, if everyone took to camping we would end up with a situtation where everyone is sitting in their dark corners and nothing would happen, no one would die, no one would get kills and every game would end up in a draw

I've no problem with campers perse (I'm talking about guys here who literally stay planted in one spot the entire game) but at the same time I can't think of anything more tedious.. Why not save money and just stare out of a window all day. Anyways like I said each to their own.

Yeah I agree with you there. I don't see the point in just staying rooted to the one spot for the entire game. I had a few games like that last night on Hard Hat. someone just sat next to the bull dozer and when they were killed, returned to the same place time and again and ended the game with around 5 kills and 20+ deaths.

Now once the gane has finished, I check the vault, and look back at the game, especialy the person who called me a F**** camper, guess what, he was camping at times, guess he was a sore loser, when I killed him 4 times

Camping is part of the game, when you respawn, you dont just run out, you dont know who is about, so you wait, but if someone runs by you, they get killed by you, and you get called a camper

Yes people are quick to call someone a camper, I get called it a bit, but if they actually watched their kill cam they'll see I wasn't.

If I know you're round the corner or heading my way I'll hide or lay down so I can kill you.

That isn't camping.

If you came back and I was in the same spot and you came back again and again, then you can call me a camper.

different ones. infection is main one at moment where the aim is to try and survive to the end. rarely happens mind you. get 8 kills so that you get all perks bonus and are invisible at the end from radar.

It's not so much campers that bother me. I kinda take pleasure in walking up behind and stabbing them after been killed like 4 times. It's the folks that only seem to be able to shoot rocket launchers that really get on my nerves.
