Hasn't David Walliams been teasing Cowell about his sexuality recently ---- maybe he has been striking a nerve so this is SC's way for deflecting the rumour and proving that he is really a rampant stud muffin.

It seems that everyone involved / commenting is on SC's payroll anyway so a giant PR stunt looks like what it is

Thought of another angle to all this. Simon Cowell has been responsible for two of ITV's biggest light entertainment hits in recent years, in The X-Factor and BGT. There's no way on earth that ITV would sell advertising space for anything likely to upset him, such as the Sun's advert for its serialisation of this supposedly unauthorised book.

The whole thing is laughable, but great entertainment to follow.

I love how in the Mirror Sharon Osbourne says she's 'not his mother' and couldn't give a toss who he's sleeping with... then makes the point of saying he was dating 3 women at once.

And 'sources' say Cheryl hates the way she's come across in the book. To be honest - I don't think it's really surprised anyone to hear that she is a bit of an emotional manipulator (if true). Her whole media image is based on being the victim, isn't it? (and I'm saying this as someone who likes Girls Aloud's music) I mean, look at the way she orchestrated that weird, though tongue-in-cheek, public apology from Louis the other week

I knew Sharon was right all along and Dannii hasn't denied it so its 100% true. Wouldn't surprise me if Simon and Cheryl's flirting was all an act for the camera's. Though Dannii fans are still making out she is sweetness and light trying to convince themselves that nothing went on, now we know how Dannii kept for job for so long.
