Hey all,
Just switched on CNN and noticed that it has finally gone widescreen about time to. Omar |

I have not noticed any difference in aspect ratio. When a widescreen programme is sourced from the 'big' CNN channel in the US they sort of squeeze it into a 4:3 frame then stretch it again, very strange.
Widescreen is long overdue though! |

Nothing worse than fake-widescreen (letterboxed) 4:3 content.
I paid for a massive TV and I have to watch this tiny picture stuck in the middle of an acre of blackness? The only thing nearly as bad is Channel 5's treatment of 4:3 content: slap a massive bright DOG nealy in the middle of the screen. Both cases make me switch over to something else. |
