HIGABMNFY Next Sunday
Just noticed this on the Freesat EPG for Sunday 22nd April 22:25 -> 23:10
BBC One West Midlands - Macbeth BBC One London - Mayoral debate All other BBC One's - Have I Got A Bit More News For You BBC One HD - Have I Got A Bit More News For You I have HIGABMNFY series linked and at the moment it is dormant as it is not on BBC One West Midlands. My questions is, should it not have jumped to another BBC region? I know the HDR can do this as I once ended up with a series link that recorded from BBC2 England and BBC2 Scotland (when it detected there was a clash) with no user intervention. According to the web interface (modified firmware) the series CRID link for my dormant HIGABMNFY series link is: fp.bbc.co.uk/L1KTX1 which matches the series CRID for next Sunday's showings on the other BBC One regions, so I see no reason why it has not scheduled the recording from an alternative region. |

Just set it to record on BBC ONE HD?
I have it series linked on BBC One HD on a T2 freeview box and BBC One (SD) on the FOXSAT. This gives the best of both worlds as with modified firmware I can "access" both boxes from anywhere and depending on local internet speeds I can then retrieve either the HD version from the T2 or the SD version from the FOXSAT (you have to remember that the FOXSAT encrypts all HD recordings so these are of no use). Although to be perfectly honest watching on a laptop screen the SD version is perfectly adequate (and so much better than iPlayer quality). |
