I agree she should just let Derek help, but you know Bianca, she's stubborn old cow and doesn't want to come across like she can't feed her own children without a man's help.

I know Tiffany's too young to really understand financial difficulties, but it would help if she paid more attention to her surroundings and listen when her mum says she can't afford things, take it all on board. Chucking the dinner away was rude, regardless of how crap it was.

I agree totally, but Bianca is the lazy sort who just cops out by saying the kids won't eat it, we heard her when Ray tried to teach her to cook Spaghetti Bolognese! Of course they won't eat it when they're too used to processed crap to actually like anything else!

And Tiffany throwing away her dinner tonight I think was just to show how kids nowadays do not appreciate anything, and not being able to afford stuff is an alien concept to most of them!
