Sky Wifi using The Cloud.
Just used the new free app that Sky have launched for customers with Broadband Unlimited / Fibre.
Allows these users to get FREE WIFI at any Cloud hotspot. The way they do the log in credentials is much better than BT Openzone. For the iPhone / iPad at least they create a wifi profile on the phone so they when you walk past a hotspot your phone automatically connects saving time as you don't have to put in numbers and passwords & o apps needed after the profile is installed.... it just works like your home network does! Very good. Not sure how the Android app works but i'm sure it's equally as quick. Found the two hotspots i used (Wagamamas & Cafe Nero) to be much faster than the Openzone ones i get free with my mobile contract! So Sky Broadband customers check it out. ![]() http://wifi.sky.com/ |

The app shows you can register 6 devices. I'm not sure how it handles laptops yet... as i'm yet to try my laptop with it.
Legend so you don't need to log in or use the app for the wifi to start working? |
