It was VERY patronising. It was saying "look guys he's blind but he can sing, play the piano AND the sax"
entirely understandable rossyrahrah - its a bit daunting to go through it all - most of it is rubbish

Anyway yes, very much agree - it was a horrble cringe worthy remark - and I hope he feels suitably embarressed.
The problem isn't so much the remark though, it's the fact that it is the way he thinks.

I said on another thread that I think G4 are vocally the best in the competition but Louis Walsh is a complete prat if he thinks this was a good idea.
Someone else asked why Westlife are so successful with him as their manager - the thing to remember is Simon Cowell is their A&R man, he chooses the songs they sing........................and has he ever got it wrong ?

I heard that the Westlife boys found "Mandy" to be a ridiculous song choice but it went to No.1, unlike their previous single!

sorry, that's what I meant to get across. I felt that Louis Walsh was saying to people "look what this blind guy can do". Why bother, just let him sing - he has a good enough voice
