How Do I Transfer A Cd From My Laptop To My Ipad

I want to transfer a couple of my cds (my own collection) to my apple i pad. I also want to transfer some photos from a usb stick via the laptop to the i pad can anyone advise with simple step by step instructions please Thanks David

To access your ipad you have to install itunes. Use a CD ripper to extract your CD files to either .wav or MP3 format. You probably already have software for this. Nero Burning ROM for instance.

Surely iTunes will rip the CD, won't it?

It's a while since I used it on Windows, so can't remember if the Windows version can rip. The Mac version certainly can.

It's a long time since I used itunes to transfer some existing files to Grandson's ipod. You may well be right
