Their first performance was average but that last performance really moved me, very emotional indeed, they are well deserved to be kept in the competition.

They are just prolonging the agony though. They are bound to be in the bottom two next week they are just not popular with the public. I can't see the judges (apart from Louis) saving them over any of the other acts.
They did escape being in the bottom 2 last week.
I think they might be more popular if they sing in tune / in harmony with each other next week.

Having big voices, however dramatic they might be, does not work unless they happen to sing in tune with each other.
VWS were dire this week.
Michelle McManus was a 33/1 shot in Pop Idol 2 at one point and was in the bottom few more than once. VWS are amazing and I'm gonna keep championing them all the way.
Yeah, they sounded pretty rotten to me, but I guess Sharon "I manage that major vocal talent, my husband, Ozzy Osbourne" knows better than me, eh.

why well done?, they were crap the first time and not much better the second time, yes they were beter than 2 to go but my dog was better than them as well.

I think it's too late in the competition now, people will have their favourites and will forgive them for bad weeks, VWS do not seem to have a very big fan base. Although I don't like them I hope they are not in the bottom two next week, the whole thing is becoming too predictable now.
They were even worse the second time. I may not have liked 2 To Go much, but they were better than VWS tonight!

You're right, I was just generally being snarky and mean!!
I guess the argument goes though that if they don't have a big fan base, they don't have this supposed mythical "X Factor" - or at least, they wouldn't sell very many.
I think more and more that Will Young is the only one emerging from these shows who has any hope of a career lasting more than 12 months (Michelle from PI 2 lasted about 12 minutes).
Oh... I suppose Girls Aloud sell a few copies of their stuff as well.

Simon is usually a good indication of the crappest and he would've agreed.

I hate to say this, but im glad Simon actually dared to say actual criticism. I was thinking that they were out of tune and i so knew sharon wouldnt say anything bad even though it was so obvious.
I thought 2 to go were much better the 2nd time they performed. Voices With Soul howevever, were still very poor. All they seem to do is shout, and this week they couldn't even manage to shout in tune. I cannot understand why people are voting for them.

Have to agree - IMO they were dreadful tonight but they could have read out the phone directory and would still have been picked over 2 to go who didn't stand a chance with the judges.
