I've driven past it a few times, but as that article says it really is in a tucked away location so you'd have to make a special trip even if you lived locally.

I live about 6/7 mins away (walking!) My road is very nice with big houses but the roads surrounding the cafe are quite bland an no one would suspect there's a film studios just own the road from them.
I've occasionally seen cameras own there but havent been in a while

I appreciate it is a genuine cafe but the way we see candidates drinking from takeaway cups rather than China makes me think it is just used as a set when used for filming and the drinks bought in from elsewhere. Would explain why it's always empty!

The drinks aren't bought in from elsewhere. The reason for the
paper cups and the empty cafe, is to set the mood of them being in the losing team. It's not a big cafe and the crew would take up most of the room anyway.
Compared to the fun that the winning team is having.
