Sometimes she does make good observations but whenever she has a strong dislike for a candidate it seems to turn into a grudge, with constant snide remarks.....remember her hatred for Alex and Susan Ma from Series 7.

Karren doesn’t need to be overly agreeable and to see some humour would be pleasant but it’s not required. Although Karren is not Margaret, who decided to move on to pastures new of her own volition, it’s Karren herself who’s the constant reminder that she is lacking. Expecting Karren to use an arched eyebrow in quite the same way as Margaret would be futile but by now she should be adept. Karen whatever her business background, has still not managed to achieve a persona that obliterates or obscures that of her predecessor.
She’s been in the role for years now and it is more noticeable than it should be she is unable to combine subtlety of manner with that of dispassionate observer and sets herself so high above those she is observing she’s not capable of reporting back in an even-handed or judicious way.

She criticised Susan heavily in one episode, which some people here felt was unfair (I thought it was valid criticism), but that didn't translate into series long hatred. As she isn't called upon to say much there really isn't scope for "constant snide remarks". That it might turn into a grudge can really only be a suspicion, there's no evidence for it. If she says negative things about a candidate more than once, that might be a grudge, but it might be that she genuinely saw negative things going on.
She and Nick see the candidates in action close up for days on end (it's continuous, task after task, not weekly). It's not surprising that they will form negative opinions about some of them. The candidates themselves do too.
If she would take the sour, bitter, negative look off of her face for 10 seconds, it might help.

I'm afraid you are pretty much spot on. Actually, I just don't think being on television works for her.

Think she needs to stop practicing those negative faces in the mirror every morning ready for when she's following the teams, they lose their effect after a while.
It must be very off-putting trying to do a pitch or sell something with someone behind you going

I shouldn't think so. This thread was started so that Karren haters can indulge their passion for throwing insults at her and inviting others to join in. Expressing a dislike for someone on TV is one thing (fair enough), but it seems to be an obsession with some. I really can't understand it, unless Karren's done something to them personally or to one of their close friends or family (if she has, they're not willing to tell). Having said that, as long as they're not breaking any forum rules, they're entitled to post what they want.
I've realised that there's no point in trying to put across a counter viewpoint because it only encourages more insults. It's best to leave them to it until they eventually bore of having no-one to argue with.

That's all part of the programme for everyone on it. The losing team, Karren, Nick, Lord Sugar all do any number of these things on The Apprentice. So don't single Karren out. Lord Sugar and the losing candidates are far worse. That is the nature of the programme.

I take offence at the 'haters' word but I do think the OP's motives are blatantly obvious, nasty and downright wicked.

I think Karen away from Apprentice is quite a nice person from what I've seen of her interviews.
Maybe she was told by the Apprentice bosses to play her part quite strictly but fairly. They need certain characters in the show to keep the viewers interested. That is why I believe Adam has lasted so long.
