Rowetta - Goldfinger G4 - Bohemien Rhapsody(spellcheck) Steve - Hold Me Close Tabby - Pride Cassie - Eternal Flame VWS - When Will I See You Again What do you think!! I'm sure our choices will be better than the 3 judges

Do you mean Hold me Close as sung by David Essex? Why would that be a good song for a soul voice? I'd like to hear him sing something like Me and Mrs Jones.

I like the songs you picked for G4, Tabby and Cassie. Tabby especially. I think G4 should definitely do something a bit more classical.
The only one I can think of right now is Son of a Preacher Man for Rowetta. |

I think she'd sound good on "Why" by Annie Lennox. |

I like the choices of the original poster but I really want to see Rpwetta do somthing funky like a Donna Summer hit where she can groove on stage or a fast rock number. She'd give Tabby a run for his money. |

I think VWS need to do a disco number, although they are gospel singers, they need to sing a song which livens them up |

I would like to see Cassie sing "Through The Fire" by Chaka Kahn, or "The Voice Inside My Heart" by Patti Labelle. I reckon she could pull them off well.

My Opinions...whaddya reckon?
Steve - How am I supposed to live without you - Michael Bolton (he is UK's MB) G4 - Either Barcelona - Freddie Mercury & some opera woman, or Bui Doi from Miss Saigon (Much more them) Cassie: Fallin' - Alicia Keys (I reckon she could pull it off) Rowetta: It's in his kiss (shoop shoop song) - Cher (she has the loudness) VWS: End of the LIne: Honeyz (it's a bit livelier...) Tabby: Mr Jones - Counting Crows (slight different tangent...) |

However, no amount of good songs will help if they shout there way thru the songs. They need to harmonize more |

Not really sure to be honest, normally quite drunk when I hear disco songs, but they do need to find their niche (apart from gospel)
Motown might suit them, the faster songs anyway, river deep mountain high could sound impressive. If Erasure doing it live sounds good then they must be in with a chance. |

G4 singing Barcelona could be awesome.Out of all the contestants,I think G4 should be allowed to chose their own song. They have much more of a clue what song would suit them than Louis has.

Rowetta - Simply The Best (Tina Turner)
Steve - Mr Boombastic (Shaggy) (I dreamt it last night it was quite funny) Cassie - Don't Speak (No Doubt) (give her a live band too) Trev - Wherever You Will Go (The Calling) VWS - Its Raining Men ( The Weather Girls) G4 - The Cheeky Song ( Cheeky Girls) (Puh - Puh - Puh that was a good idea lol, they would do it too) I also think cassie could do "Imagine" by John lennon, there wouldn't be a dry eye in the house
