He's obviously getting the votes consistently every week, being the only contestant not to be in the bottom three. I had him down as the winner very early on, so I'd be shocked if he didn't at least make the final.

I don't know if he'll have Colton's votes. I'm a Phillip fan, but never quite warmed to Colton, so I don't think it's the case that if you like one, you like the other. I'm sure he'll pick up some of his votes though.

I'd say Joshua, but I think Skylar could be a suprise finalist. I'd love it to be Hollie, but don't see it happening After Jessica being bottom, I don't think she will make the final.

i'm starting to think skylar might make it far. forgive me that this sounds cruel but she's a bit more homely than say, jessica, and that might appeal to the female vote plus we know country singers do very well.

Despite being bottom last week I still think Jessica has a strong chance. If she picks the right songs she has mass appeal and if she can stay safe for a couple of weeks I can see her picking up fans from departing contestants (Hollie, Joshua). My prediction for the top three would be Phillip, Skylar and Jessica.

I saw one US bookmaker had Colton as the favourite to win coming into this weeks show and Jessica the favourite the week before! No one is a sure thing this year. I suspect its the tightest contest its been for years.

This is true. Obviously not everyone will like both but I think a lot of people will, me included. Those 2 have always been my favourites. Phillip already had a big fanbase and now it's going to be even bigger (regardless whether he gets ALL of Colton's votes or not). I hope the OP is right. Phillip is the only one left whose music i would actually buy.

Nobody else has a chance. Has anyone who's been in the bottom ever won? No? I don't think it's ever been the case that the winner has been determined by the time there's 6 left. That speaks volumes. I will not be watching the rest of the show, I only started watching the top 12, I liked Hollie and Colton and now that he's gone and she has no chance of winning what's the point? Ridiculous this year.

Yes Fantasia was in the bottom 3 in what I think is the worst bottom 3 ever with Jennifer Hudson and Latoya London.

I think Skylar will be a finalist as I think she has the southern female vote but I don't think she will win (sadly). My perfect final is Joshua and Skylar but I think Philip will win.

I don't think Philip has this in the bag at all. People were saying the same things about Jessica and Colton before they landed up finishing bottom. The competition is pretty wide open, but personally I don't think Philip's voice is strong enough to actually win on the final night. He looks like of a runner-up to me.

Also, the assumption that anyone who liked Colton must automatically switch to Philip irritates me. I liked Colton but I don't like Philip. It's the same as saying Hollie fans will switch to Jessica, and I don't think that's the case. I like Hollie but dislike Jessica.

Phillip has the largest fanbase of all contestants (at least based on Twitter and Facebook numbers). But I think at this stage of the show it'll depend on a lot of things especially their performances. As more contestants leave and we're getting close to the finale, there will be more freelance voters which will play a bigger role in the results IMO.
I don't agree that all Colton fans will switch to Phillip either.

No one who has ever had the save used on them has ever gone above top 5 so it is possible Jessica will be gone within the next two weeks. And rightfully so as she isn't as great as the judges keep desperately stating. I did notice how only Joshua got standing ovations and Jessica got none this week (funny that after she was 7th last week they seem to have put all thier hopes into Joshua now).

I think the bottom 3 this week was completely wrong. I am no Elise fan but she was definitely better than Jessica. Jessica was the worst and should have gone. Colton did have dodgy songs but so have the chosen ones Joshua and Jessica and yet they always get praise so i don't think Colton should have gone.

What irritated me the most was Hollie being in the bottom three this week. She did NOT deserve to be there and it is such an insult to have Jessica and Joshua in the safe area when Hollie was so much better than both of them this week.

I think it's looking increasingly likely that Phillip may be the one, but what I find interesting is that he's surprisingly polarizing online. I think beyond his original fanbase, he isn't exceedingly popular, which might prove fatal in the final if he's up against someone who is generally well-liked like Skylar or Jessica.

I really hope Phillip doesn't win though - he's been my least favourite since Heejun left, and is probably the only contestant left that I actively don't like.

As I have said previously I think Skylar has enough backing to reach the final at least because she seems like a nice girl and I don't think she seems to have been any kind of a diva during the show.

I also find it annoying that Philip will pick up Colton's votes as they are totally different artists and the only link is that they are both single and I assume straight men.

I thought the bottom 3 this week was spot on and thought it was quite obvious. Colton was the worst on the night but thought he may of been forgiven one bad week. Nothing obvious in this show but I would be amazed if Hollie and Elise dont leave in the next 2 weeks though.

I have shouted Joshua from the start and if we vote on who is the best singer then he would win by miles.

Joshua is the best singer I have ever heard on any of these type of programmes - He is always on pitch - Never hits a duff note, Pushes his voice harder then anyone I have heard, Sings with emotion and connects to the lyrics of the songs and he can even scream on pitch.

He is on a different planet to Hollie who is just an average shouter that hits bum notes, goes off pitch on almost every song and looks awkward to watch.

Fantasia was bottom two more than once I think and won, IMO Phillip is too divisive to win, Jessica being bottom was probably due to her obscure song choice, Jessica, Joshua and Skylar all could be big threats to Phillips chances

I must admit to almost always being completely bemused by the favourite in AI most years. Phillip completely passes me by most weeks and, in others, actively irritates me. I really don't get it at all.

Yes I agree I am not a fan of Philip and really want to whizz past him but my dad likes him. I thought Colton would be forgiven as well considering he has been good most other weeks but America don't seem to like individuality that's why Adam Lambert didn't win.
