9150 recording problem
I've scheduled a timed recording for my mum of the first showing of Neighbours every day (ie. not using the guide). Most of the time, this works perfectly, but a couple of times it hasn't. My mum was in the same room when the hummy started up yesterday, so assumed it had recorded as normal. Unfortunately, when she looked at the list of programmes later, it wasn't on there. Any ideas?

I've just double-checked, and she says nothing like that has happened, but thanks anyway.

If this is a one off occurrence then I wouldn't take any action. If the problem persists and particularly if the symptoms I mentioned occur then the disk will need formatting. The other possible problem is an incorrectly tuned box which might manifest itself as channels above 800.

Sorry my mistake. By the time I made my second post I had forgotten the information in the OPs first post. Still doesn't explain the failure to record when the Humax had come out of standby; I still think file system corruption is the most likely explanation but I guess we will never know..
