I got some cheap from Morrisons, but I don't know how to cook them. Any ideas please.

Cook them on a slow heat in the oven, touch of water in the pan so they don't dry out. I cover mine with foil too. I use the juices left over as a base for gravy and serve with potatoes and veg.

Or you could grill them, but they tend to go too dry for my liking when I do them that way.
Never tried them fried in a pan

Mix some honey, pork stock, star annise and crushed corriander seeds in a pan and reduce to a sticky syrup. cover your pork belly in some of the mixture

Slow cook them in the oven at about 100 degrees until they're cooked. Pour the remainder of the sauce on top and enjoy.

I saw a show with James Martin the other day and he sliced them into lardons and stirfried them. I was dubious as to how lovely and tender he proclaimed they were as in my experience they need a lot of cooking.

I would marinade them in either a wet or dry rub and then braise them for an hour on a low heat. When they are cooked you can fry or grill them to crisp them up a bit.

I find it difficult to warm to these as they were a staple, known as pork strips, in the early 60's when money was tight.

I often buy these. I prepare a marinade (have several variations), leave the pork marinating in the fridge for a day or so, then I sometimes freeze some for another time. Either bake them in the oven or grill them. Very tasty. Nice on the bbq too.
