Nevermind who actually wins the title of American Idol, the real winner is always the one who sells the most singles and albums and who manages to stick around beyond the success of their TV tie-in debut.

So who do you think will make top dollar out of all the Finalists? Who is the most marketable?

I want Joshua to win the show for consistent great vocals - Put that out there first.

Who will sell the most albums - Jessica Sanchez for sure. She will be the next big female artist in America.

Speaking of the next big female artist, I wonder how well the XF US winner is doing and if Jessica will ultimately do better

I have not heard of Melanie Amaro releasing anything yet. They often wait a year before they release an album. I much prefer Jessica and her first week song of I will Always Love You must be one of the best singing performances on a talent show.

Erika will sell the most albums to me and I reckon she'd actually be more popular here than in America, but over there, although I don't like her voice, Skylar may sell well as the country market is so lucrative. Kellie Pickler was my fav in Season 5 and she's done well, obviously the American public disagree with me on Skylar too. Colton will probably also do well, this is turning into Season 5 where we have a country singer and a rocker who are likely to do better than the winner, who will probably be the Hicks-esque Phillip. I disagree about Jessica because I can't see her singing songs that are memorable enough to make her a star, and Joshua may have the same problem. I think they could have great careers on Broadway though, maybe Hollie will also take that route once she has more experience. Elise could probably find an adult contemporary niche but is unlikely to be particularly mainstream.
