Not sure if I am misunderstanding something, but it's already out. And the European version doesn't support 4G.

There wont be any 4G networks in the UK for a few years yet and coverage will be poor to non existent for several years when they do get round to it.
By which time 5G will be ready

it doesn't have a 1800, 800 or 2600 LTE chip, so no.

Don't forget about T-Mobile and Orange at the end of this year.

Given the amount of legal challenges from the other networks this will be tied up in red tape for a very long time
Either way.. the Galaxy Note won't work with this LTE

I think the backlash from public opinion will get them to pipedown... I personally feel it will launch in the next 6 months.

What does the iPod 4g support.
![]() I bet you will have dropped and replaced the Note a dozen times by the time we all get 4G (or even what is marketed as 4G) |

New iPad? 700 & 2100 as it the US system.
Although 1800 is gaining use in EU & Asia and one US network is going to use 800.... So no doubt in my mind the UK's LTE frequencies will be supported by a load of handsets & tablets by this Autumn well before a launch. The 'New' new iPad should be launched just after EE roll out their LTE network if all goes to plan... No doubt it will have 1800 LTE, maybe 800 too. |

Either way.. the Galaxy Note won't work with this LTE ![]() All the other networks have to do is to take legal action. At the very least this will delay it for long enough that it becomes irrelevant or even kill it off completely. The wheels of justice move slowly and the other networks have time on their side. Also the public know very little about these technical matters. I doubt may people even know about 3G on 900Mhz. |

By which time 5G will be ready ![]() ![]() Yeh like everyone has said, unless the radio in the phone supports 800/1800/2600Mhz frequencies then it won't work on 4G in the UK when it is launched next year. At the moment you can buy imports from a few asian countries who have phones that would support our 4G network here, but only a few phones and not the note as far as i am aware. Also Sprint, a network in the USA will start using 4G on 800Mhz sometime next year and so next year we will probably see phones from Sprint that will work with 4G here, but only limited as it still won't support the 1800/2600Mhz frequency. Best thing to do is wait for the UK to release their own varients of 4G handsets. |
