was just AWESOME!!! I was so moved I actually have tears in my eyes then my husband ruined the moment for me when he sang the song again & murdered it!

I think if Steve brings out Smile as his first single it'll be No.1.

I agree - it was an excellent performance.

I have to add that my opinion of Louis goes down each week. Last night, in addition to comments he made about Peter, the way that he said 'If you like that song, it's on the Westlife album and it's a much better version' was terrible.

On the X-factor, he should not be promoting any act that is not part of x-factor. And then to belittle an act on x-factor by saying they are not as good as an act that has already had countless number ones is disgusting. (although if I'm honest I think Steve can sing better than most members of Westlife)

I'm sorry if this point has already been made, but I've only just discovered this x-factor forum, so am still making my way through the threads

(my opinion of Louis first started going downhill when he hid the the shower to avoid having to tell a woman he couldn't go out with her)

His performance reminded me of david brent singing 'if you dont know me by know'...it was cringeworthy to the extreme...he had a fixated grin on him like he was a miss world contestant preaching for world peace...if this guy wins then this show wasnt x factor...it was joke factor...

Loved steve's performance last night, totally suited him. At least his mentor knows what songs to choose for him. Both Sharon and Louis are not very good in selecting songs for their acts. Cassie's have been awful or is it she is just too young to cope with a lot on the songs.
