Finished Fuji, well I enjoyed, it was not the best, but still a decent one.
Tried to watch china last week but could not get into it, not even Courtney could make me watch it. So off to see Fans vs Favourites now

LOL. I did the same as you a couple of Summers ago. I ws on bed rest for 8 weeks and I watched all 20 Survivors in a couple of weeks. I really envy you watching them for the first tima, but I always catch something I've missed.Enjoy. I liked China, but then Survivor has to be really bad (*cough* Redemption Island) for me not to enjoy them.

I sense a Fiji Appreciation Society starting.

I sometimes get so frustrated with that, apart from when there's a few surprises who sneak into the top 3 (which the editing really doesn't allow very often). I still think HvsV would have been truly brilliant if Jerri won the fan vote in an epic redemption style. But she turned around general opinion and got cheers at the final, so it's all good. ![]() Quote:
I did laugh in Cook Islands when they kept sending her to exile island as punishment. But I have to give Candice credit for summing up HvsV better than anyone else. Voting for Sandra with the reason that she bridged the gap between a hero and a villain. That's exactly how the season should have ended. I couldn't picture the winner being a big bad villain laughing all the way to the bank, and a goody-goody hero victory would have been too predictable. It was rightfully someone who was both a hero and a villain and used those qualities to get the end. At the end of the day you need both sides to do well in Survivor, you can't have one without the other. Candice showed amazing insight there. |

Could not get into fans vs favourites, found the cast unlikeable, might give it a go again soon.
Ended up watching the 17th season, was okay and produced some great moments http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogNemSsb_ek http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b__uV_ug5u8 |

In most of these reality shows, whenever newbies are pitted against the veterans, the newbies are always given shite treatment.
The producers want to keep their popular players and big characters happy.Does make it very frustrating viewing. I find pre-merge Fans vs Faves a total blur, but after the merge is when it really gets good with some really memorable tribal councils. |

F v F will always be watchable, partly for The Black Widows and the unforgettable Eric moment.Just thought, he and Kat would be a match made in Survivor Heaven! |

I will try and give it a go, like you said meglo it gets better when they merge, so ill try and contuine to watch it. I find if I watch a season and cant warm to it after 4 episodes I give up
Decided to watch season 21 now, then I thought I might watch the current season that is still going on

Omg the black chick and the guy with blonde long hair are amazing, they just had a massive fight at tribal council. Hope both stick around, I love it.

FvF definitely picks up after a while, it's kind of a borefest pre-merge, but its post-merge is so exciting people often forget that!!

I still can't get over how they thought the medallion of power would be a good idea!
Alina and Fabio were nice enough I'll give you that, wasn't a fan of anyone else who didn't go early on that season though. Jane was especially bad. |

Dont you mean NaOnka? Brenda I liked. I wouldn't mind seeing her on an All Stars seson.NaOnka is right up there with the vilest people ever to appear on Survivor. Honestly, Jerry wouldn't be classed as a villain these days. Besides, I like her. She showed some gumption, after she got over her stupid crush on the loathsome all-american whinger that was Colby. |
