Blu-Ray Audio Sync Sony BDP S-370
Sony BDP S370 Blu-Ray, Sony KDL40W5500 TV, no amp being used.
When playing downloaded movies via USB-connected external hard-disk into BR player, often the audio & video is out of sync by as much as 30 seconds. Doesn't appear to be a hard disk problem, as I use several disks/brands. Anyone else had this? |

Not sure if this will work with USB playback, but have you tried adjusting the AV sync on the player?

What format are the files - .mkv/.avi etc?
Do the files play OK on a PC. You could try converting to a different format (which may help) but the most probable cause is that the Blu-Ray player does not support the codec, |
