Who knows? Week 1 firings are always a bit random because we (and Sugar) haven't had much of a chance to familiarise ourselves with the candidates yet. Bilyana was a bit funny, but each series only needs one or two jokers, and in Adam and Stephen we have two more-than-adequately silly ones already.

I was sorry to see Katie go. Her ideas on location proved wrong, and her suggested price increase would have made sales even more difficult, so it's not a travesty; she did contribute substantially to the failure of the task. But Adam had failed to grasp the whole idea of the task, and he has been so poor throughout the whole process that he really should have been the one to go. To be honest, I had assumed that Sugar's intention in making him and Jenna the team leaders was so that he could get shot of one of them!

I'm actually warming to Jenna. I thought she did OK as PM.

It would be a change if the candidates actually listened to what Lord Sugar wanted. It was plain to even that team of nits that quality food was needed to sell and they produce nasty horrid cheap meatballs. Pah!

I really like Katie, but she has been lucky to make it this far. Definitely one of the weakest in this series.

The cans of things were from Morrisons. I know, because I have the exact same ones in my cupboards

I'm expecting Morrisons to have flag/signs on the products saying "Gourmet range. As Seen on TV"

AGREE.....she was up 3 times already and that was going to be it for her!! Loving Gino on YF last night...learning a new word for p**** to boot too!!

Another episode where the rules of the game were not thought through. Last week the wrong team won as they didn't deduct the cost of equipment (hula hoops and bouncy balls) from the value of the orders. This week no attempt was made to punish a team for totally ignoring the brief to cook high quality food.

It was only luck the cheap and nasty food didn't win, the profits of both teams were very close and win/loss was more down to the locations picked than anything else.

Very sad the makers put so little thought into real business issues (this week someone even said 'were only here one day, it doesn't matter if the customers don't like the food').

Previous series were much better.
