if they are could i download them from my android phone then transfer them to the tablet and would they work without having to root the tablet??? |

I have the Anornva 10.1 inch G2 and Appslib has a lot of apps available. If I need something from Market Place which is not on Appslib (such as Sky News or BBC iPlayer) then I just googled the .apk file and install. Its very simple.
These are great tablets for anyone interested, and it is easy to add Market Place should you want to. For a media player, reading device and the internet, it really is quite superb, especially for the low price that they can be bought for now. Mark

search for "Arctools" on appslib, this will give you the full set of google apps, market included, i have an archos 101it, and this worked for me...

Yeah think I had an archos (before I took it back) and I just downloaded the Android Market apk and used that instead.
