I don't think it shows he's stupid, but rather shows that he's narrow-minded. He's one of those people that is of the mindset that if they don't do or think something, they can't imagine that anybody else could possibly hold a different opinion.

I'd agree with that - although I happen to think he is pretty stupid too, as he consistently ignores the advice of others and thinks he's better than everyone, which he quite clearly isn't.

It's Tom vs Gabby for me - I've outlined the reasons why in my latest blog post here ... http://slouchingtowardsthatcham.com/...6-street-food/

As they were in Scotland, they could have tried deep fried sushi. Get a bit of fish, cover it in batter and get it in the deep fat fryer. Might catch on one day.

Not at all - I think the whole deep fried fish thing could be popular all over the UK!

But eating shushi out of a flimsy cardbox box whilst walking down the street may not taste too good. Maybe that's what he meant.

I wonder if he's ever been to Yo Sushi Guess not.
Presumably they serve sushi there.

"Who in their right mind would eat Japanese food?"

As Dara said on YF ... the Japanese, maybe?

I did love that clip on YF when Adam asked who round the table ate Japanese food and most of his team raised their hands. (Although not, of course, BFF Stephen.)

Stupid? Not necessarily (although certainly way out of his comfort zone and out of his depth). Incredibly narrow-minded with a "what I say must be right" attitude? Absolutely.

Someone point him in the direction of a Yo Sushi or Wagamama's ...

Adam has consistently shown that he is nothing more than an arrogant, loud-mouthed know-nothing - PERIOD!

I wonder, if Utterly Delicious Meatballs had won, where would LS have stood? They'd have won by defying the object of the task.

Yeah, let's resort to some lazy stereotypes.

He is from Oop North, after all.

He'll have his whippets on the next task.

His question was perfectly reasonable and just sought to establish his market.

I do not rate Adam but the hate for him I am yet to get.

He is a bit of a knob in my opinion.

The thing I detest is the fact that in all the previous tasks he got his objections to the PM's decisions in like a bullet. when those decisions turned out to be good ones he backpedalled like mad making out that he was a team player.

He also looks down on women and has no idea of the real world. "Who eats sushi ?" How embarrasing. I can't wait for him to get fired.

Steady on, my post didn't imply any view of hate on my part,

I just menioned Yo Sushi which presumably he doesn't go to if he doesn't think people eat Sushi much, where's the harm?

He wasn't asking a question.

He was making a statement: he personally doesn't eat sushi, therefore nobody else could possibly want to eat sushi.

There have been a lot of p*ks on The Apprentice over the years, but he's the most loathesome, misogynist, racist one of them all.

Why do you say he's racist? I'm interested.

I agree he's misogynist; and I also think he's a class snob- he looks down on people who he perceives as having 'lower' positions than him. I don't like him at all.

Can't stand the bloke but I don't see any evidence he is racist. Probably tucks his shirt in his underpants, though.

It was the way he belittled anyone who wasn't white during the product design task.
