Kobo Touch Problem
Suddenly the files on my Kobo won't open - all I get is a message saying 'Oops - this file cannot be opened' although I have opened the same files previously.
Any one any idea what the problem could be? |

Thanks for replies, psionic and Alan.
I should have said 'document' instead of files -the bokks stored on the reader won't open although they open on the website. I have updated it. What do you mean re-boot? Is that the same as going back to factory settings? I've contacted the Kobo customer care and they are investigating - no solution as yet. |

Slide the power button and hold to the right for 10 seconds 3. Let go 4. Briefly slide the switch once more quickly 5. LED should go blue then green 6. Kobo will restart with happy face 7. You'll be back at main screen a few seconds later |

No joy - got the green and blue lights and the happy face as you said I would - books still won't open. They open on the website though.
Thanks for advice - it was worth a try! |

Can you delete one of the books and then re-download it? If that worked then they may have got corrupted somehow.

EEk! I deleted a book but it won't download on to the reader again although it has appeared on the website.
I don;t have an SD card. Right - I'll see what customer care say when they get back to me. Then (gulp) it;s factory settings if I get no joy. Thanks for your suggestions. |

Hooray! Everything is working again.
I went back to factory settings as you advised, reinstalled, everything is back, and everything opens. Alan and Psionic, thanks for giving me some time and help - it really is appreciated. |
