No one said she is releasing at the end of June, we are expecting her to perform it at the Hackney festival on the 22nd, and it will probably be released in July/August. Plus she is getting quite a good amount of promo just now because of X Factor and Hackney, and they will be airing on tv soon.

I think you guys are really going to be let down if you think a new song will be coming soon, A single in September or October and the album in November is still the most likely.

When Leona says the end of summer, that's not really a definitive timescale.

But she did say she had a supriced in store and she just found out she herself got confirmation for it.

I still don't understand if trouble is soo amazing and this album was scheduled to be released 7 months ago, why they haven't released it as a single, or glass heart, surely if they built up momentum for it months ago by releasing trouble and a new single around hackney then the album a couple months later. Surely this would have got everyone's eye back on her.

Rather than staying in the shadows for even more months, WHO KNOWS. I trust Leona though and it sounds as if she has more control this time.

Don't think about Maybe her album would have been a big flop if she had released it last year, we'll never know. What I do know is that they did everything to make a great album and it's finished now.

I think they really wanted to make sure the album was going to be perfect. Not to mention Leona herself mention fighting to have creative control over the album, which would have delayed it further. She also has to satisfy the US record label, as Echo didn't cut it. Not to mention their original plan of releasing "Collide" as the lead single really didn't go well, so they had to re-think their stratergy.

I think if they use the radio 1 hackney weekend to debut her single, it will be a great move!

OMG I know this isn't an Alexandra Burke thread but her latest single only went to 33 in the uk top 40

Yeah it may rise but I thought that she would have definetly have made the top 10

I doubt it'll rise. Apparantley there's some sort of radio snub on her. So capital/radio 1 and many other radio stations aren't going to playlist her singles It's a shame because she has some great music on her latest album!

Radio seems to be doing this to a lot of talent show winners.When someone wins the talent show,they use the high off the win to get hits,unfortunately for alexandra and leona the high has worn off. Leona is really gonna have to work hard for her success this time,maybe taking a long time to record the album is a good thing,cause she wants to record the perfect album,and maybe glassheart was over rushed last year and thats why she re did it
