Does anyone know how I can back up ipad magazine purchases to my mac?
Hi I am trying to figure out how I can transfer copies of T3 magazine that I buy on my ipad to my macbook. I only have a 16gb ipad so I cant store everything on it but was wondering can issues I have read be backed up on my macbook.
I have googled this and I'm having no luck. Any help would be appreciated. |

I'm assuming they are purchased through iTune so you could download them as you wanted them rather than having to keep them all on the iPad?
Or I think if you sych the iPad on your Macbook then the backups would be stored on the Macbook as well. |

If you have iTunes on the Macbook plug the iPad in and when iTunes detects it click on the iPad in the list down the left.
On the Apps tab if you scroll down to the bottom you should see a section that allows you to copy files on and off the iPad. Though it may only show certain apps. If the app you use to read the files is shown click on it and a list of files associated with that app should be displayed. You can then highlight whichever files you want and copy them to a folder on your Macbook. And you can use the same facility to copy stuff back to the iPad. Just drop a file into the list section and it gets copied to the iPad. Though you cannot directly copy folders from Macbook to iPad, but can copy folders from iPad to Macbook (go figure!) |
