YF: An improvement this week...
After weeks of dull-as-ditchwater YFs, I thought Katie's exit interview was one of the better ones. Dara held back a bit (which was an improvement) whilst the panel was well-balanced. I still can't quite believe that Gino DiCampo wasn't half as annoying as I thought he would be!!!! He actually talked some wise words of wisdom and was suitably humerous with it. The comedian (Fred McCauley) was also funny.
What did you guys think? |

Yes a well balanced YBF. It helps that Fred McCauley is quite judicious in his input - he's very good when on Radio 4's newsquiz - unlike other comedians who just spout noise for the sake of it (no names *cough* Ruby Wax *cough*)
I wasn't aware of Gino before but agreed he did talk sense - if a little overexcitedly (though he is Italian I suppose )

I was at that recording and thought Fred was an excellent last minute stand-in for Kevin Bridges, although Gino's over the top leching at Katie got increasingly tiresome as the evening went on.

You're Fired has been misfiring throughout the series. I suppose it can only ever be as good as the main programme allows it to be.
