Goodbye lovely 100th thread. You were depressing, but still special.

Which films are relevant to it MrL?

I've played the Iron Man PS3 game, will that help?

Oooh 101.
His ratting out of Joel and Bart and his general awesomeness at the club pleased me no end. I love a bit of Rhys.

Oh my God, so good. So, so good. And I didn't expect it to be. Cos the Buffy creator directed it, and no offence to him, there's a bit of a difference between directing a tv show and something as massive as this. But it was great.
Oooh The Avengers is definitely on my list of things to watch, enjoyed Thor a surprising amount last year and have yet to see Capt. America, but hopefully I'll be able to understand it.

Loved Buffy it was my joint-first teenage cult programme of choice. Later I loved Firefly/Serenity even more than Buffy I think.

We thought that Stendan were dead in the water.

General downness about Stug. And the state of the entire show.

The Fearne Cotton is terrifyingly accurate!

And yes, Ayla, I recommend it. Also Mark Ruffalo was in it, in his nude.

ETA: Iron Man 1 and 2, Thor, and Captain America are the main ones, ally. Hulk too, but he's been recast and I haven't seen his film and I followed it well enough.

I haven't seen the other two, but this is shocking

Oh Ayla, you missed the mid-week depression. I think we were reaching for the bottle at one point.

Oh yes, Captain America is good, but a little slow. I enjoyed Thor more. But this blew both out of the water. I think they covered Captain America pretty well in this, that you could see this without having to see that. Thor is the main one that I think needs to be a must-watch, to understand.

I haven't seen any of the films that those characters are in but BIB might just convince me to pop along to the cinema.

Oh, we had a couple dark moments. We got all the Stug spoilers, then a few dire HO episodes which got us down. Or angry/frustrated/annoyed, rather. Especially when ES tweets that we have little faith. Then the Walker speculation.

Also Chez Chez has been redone! And I loved the Rhys/Brendan scene

Don't forget the moment Tezza brought up Brendan's "business" holidays and what he really did on them.

I thought that was a bit random of ES to tweet that was she referring to Stendan fans or was it a particular tweet.

Just seemed a bit out of the blue

Yes, bad times

But that ES tweet was my fault - I'd sent her a long ranty post.

I knew I'd forgot something.

And all that cheery murder etc. chat earlier.

Yeah, Part 100 was a good 'un.

I shock myself sometimes but I think so

Don't get me wrong I loved Buffy. Always ended up turning up late for choir practice 'cos I was watching the end of Buffy

I have a weakness for space dramas and it had a space cowboy.

If it had continued and not been cancelled by evil forces think it could have reached the same heights as Buffy.

-Not a totally OT post. Brendan Brendan Brendan.

I don't want to bring it all up again, but there were some very good points made on here that we've had a lot of faith in reality, and it's difficult when you're given nothing to go on.
