Or he could just bring him along when he takes over from Kenny , along with Benzema and Kheidera
# in my dreams

I've been wondering lately, how good a Suarez and Torres partnership might've been. To continue the dreamland theme , I wonder if we could get get him back on loan from CFC next season.

Chelsea to sign an RVP, Llorente or both ,means they have to free up a striker. We could send , urrrr , Adam and Hendo as midfield back up to them on loan in return. They did sign Meireles from us after all

Paul Lambert on Goals on Sunday today sounding interesting and thoughtful as always.

You could do worse.

I don't think Shelvey would have made much difference , he's not really one to put his foot on the ball and control things, he's more about trying something different , which if it comes off is great but if it doesn't we lose the ball. Essentially we were crying out for a Xabi Alonso type player - Jose can we get him back on loan next season ?
God yes please...I'll sell the kids to help fund the transfer..

I think it's too early for Lambert just yet, best thing he could do is stay with Norwich another couple of years , consolidate them in the PL then move to something bigger.

One decent first season for the likes of Lambert and Rodgers isn't a guarantee they'd be a good long term appointment though.

Martinez has been getting miracle results with Wigan for several years now and also plays a good style of football. He also laid the foundation for Swansea's current success.

Maybe we could loan him for the last ten league games of the year? His teams only seem to start playing then!

Calls to replace Kenny after 1 season make me laugh to be honest.

If we look at potential and realistic buys in the summer. What sort of team line up would you like to see for the first game of the next PL season.

For me

--------------------Reina-------------------------
Johnson-----Skertel------Agger-------Enrique
----------------------Lucas------------------------
Ramirez*--------------Gerrard---------------Bellamy
---------------Suarez-------------------------------
---------------------Carroll--------------------------

Subs: Doni , Kelly , Coates ,Shelvey , Sterling , *De Jong ,
Eccleston

This is based on Carra , Kuyt and Maxi all being gone. Hopefully Cole and Poulsen off the wage bill to.

I think we will be looking for a new keeper in the transfer window

I like the fact he's a young manager but needs another season at Norwich and to keep them in the PL again. Otherwise , at present it would be a Hodgson-esque ,flavour of the season appointment. The same goes for Rodgers. I'd take Martinex over those two for precisely the reason of having 3 years PL experience behind him now.

For Reina , or will Doni and or Jones be going?

Where do you think Pepe will end up if he goes , I can't see too many CL clubs with vacancies for a stopper. Not from the top 4 in this country anyway.

I don't think Lambert falls into that category. He has obviously studied the game and his time in Germany has taught him a lot.

Just remind me when an LFC manager last won it..

As a clue it was more than 3 years ago.

Dalglish is showing no signs whatsoever of having the man management and tactical skills to improve things next season.

If you're happy with another season of mid table mediocrity then fine but I'm not.

Standing in the middle of a circle of pub team players at half time , wagging his fingers at them whilst moving clockwise again?

No I can see Pepe leaving...To go where Im not sure..Arsenal could be a possibility...even spurs if they get in the CL..BF is not a young keeper.

I wouldnt have a clue if he went abroad

Benitez 2009.

Can you tell me the last time a LFC manager won a proper trophy? Clue.... It was less than 3 years ago!

So 8th in the league and a Carling cup is a decent season is it..

If the teams below us win their games we could end up 12th.

So a manager of the month award and narrowly avoiding relegation is a good season is it?
