Given that Disco Love is supposed to be released this month, I hope to hear it on the radio soon. I usually like their Autumn hits best!

Disco Love is released next week (well on Friday here in Ireland) so it should be played on radio. However, they'll probably snub it in favour of crap like 1D, The Wanted and Jessie J

Good luck to the girls this week.

Some videos/audios:

Disco Love B-Side ("Love Come Down" - Evelyn King cover)
Flip video from their show at Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent
Disco Love (Acoustic on Sunday Brunch)
"Living For The Weekend" album previews!

I'm listening to Wordshaker at the moment. This album did not deserve to bomb as badly as it did. I always listen to it in the winter months.

I think Wordshaker flopped because the management handled the whole era badly. They picked the wrong song for lead single and the album cover and logo were not distinctive in any way. The songs are good but some of them did feel a bit "rushed". If I'd been in charge of the Wordshaker era I wouldn't have attempted to use a different logo or anything and as for singles I would have released Ego -> Lose Control (as a tie-in to St Trinian's 2) -> One Shot.

Having seen your use of Lose Control and One Shot I've just released that I don't have the entire album on my iTunes. Need to add those songs as well as 2am.

The album cover was one of the worst I've ever seen. So rushed!

I personally did not like 'Lose Control', but I did like 'Wordshaker' and 'One Shot', along with 'Ego'.

You'd better add it then The cover looked like it was done on MS Paint (or Paintbrush for Mac, which is a Paint equivalent you can download). MS Paint was one of the few things I missed about Windows when I moved to Mac but I downloaded equivalents and I have my Windows 7 partition The nicest Saturdays album cover was the one for Chasing Lights.

I can't post a link because the new layout of the iPad won't allow me to, but DS have reviewed the new album. They gave it 3 stars.

The review is on the main music page.

iOS 7? The album is out now here in Ireland. I downloaded it before I went to bed last night.

Probably. It's not my iPad, it's my Mum's.

It looks like 'Disco Love' will be doing better than 'Gentlemen' in the charts. I hope so anyway.

Ah right. I haven't used iOS 7 but I haven't heard many good things about it. My iPod Touch is too old to take it and my phone's an Android. My computers are Macs though

Yeah it's iOS 7 apparently. Just asked mum.

I'm looking forward to adding LFTW to my collection. Hopefully it will get a lot of plays on my iTunes and become one of my favourite winter albums.

Edit: just preordered the album

That's right. Me and iPads don't really get on, but I had a play with an Android tablet (Nexus 7) and I'm going to buy one. It seems strange for a Mac user I know I'm gonna get lynched but I know how to deal with the fanboys now. Did you pre-order on iTunes or are you buying the CD? I have it already as I'm in Ireland and I really like it.

Don't let other people tell you what you should and shouldn't have. It's okay to like other brands

I ordered standard edition CD but I ordered from Amazon so I'll get a free mp3 download of it before the CD arrives.

I know, but some Apple fanboys are really weird about it. They think everything you own should be Apple and I've been lynched because I have an Android phone and dual boot my Mac with Windows for playing Windows-only games. Strange people I bought the standard edition as well. I didn't think the deluxe was worth it. The only extras were a B-side (Wildfire) I already have and some remixes.

My copy of the album has been dispatched! Has anyone else preordered the album?

According to my Amazon Cloud player I have the deluxe edition! I'm sure that I only ordered the standard. I'll take it though

The album was only 7.99 in HMV earlier, nearly bought it as it's same price as Amazon, but decided I'd look it up a bit on Youtube first.

Anyone else like the new album?

My copy of the album arrived yesterday. I have the standard but Amazon gave me the deluxe mp3 whilst waiting for my physical copy.

EDIT: It's a shame that the album version of What About Us features Sean Paul. The version without him is so much better in my opinion. I think that his parts over theirs doesn't sound good. The only reasonably placed part is the rap in the middle but the stuff over the top throughout the song isn't good.

Una officially changes her name

She'd now like to be known as Una Foden
