And who came up with the idea for Reflections? Was it a unanimous decision?

I don't think anyone on our team would agree with this, tbh, and I'm not entirely sure where Katie has these issues? Louise was great, easily the best PM I've had so far, and I never experienced any of the problems with Louise Katie says she has.

![]() I do think Louise made lots of wrong decisions personally. Obviously, Jess doesn't agree and she's entitled to her own opinion. I just disagree with it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Well, we all came up with some ideas and sent the market research to about 40 people and combined the ideas that came back. Mine was the space one, tied in with Gav's comic book theme and male main character and a bit of Katie's murder mystery.

Okay, moving on - I'd like to hear from both teams on what they think the weaknesses of their ideas/pitch were.

How would you feel if I said ALL of your team have picked up on you being overly negative and disagreeing with any idea that's not yours?
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also can I just say before this BR goes any further because I know where it's heading I think people on my team need to consider the amount of work they actually did in comparision to me on this task. Yes I know I've been in the BR a few times and your all going to gang up on me it's predictable but I did a lot more than others on this task and I know for a fact you's are going to try and use me as a scapegoat as I've been in the BR a couple of times. |

I felt it was important to listen to our market research. They said they preferred other ideas such as, a murder-mystery type game or the asylum game yet Louise chose to ignore the gaming experts and go for unsurprisingly an idea she came up with. I'll admit I'm happy with the idea we had but I felt it was equally important we listened to our market research and Louise going against the research in my opinion, wasn't the best decision.
But Louise chose to incorporate the murder mystery concept into the idea of a free-roaming space game? It sounds to me like she was open to including the ideas of others.

I would say that our weakness mainly was a lack of communciation perhaps, going by Naruto (I was out yesterday so wasn't aware of this)...
HOWEVER. I think, one thing that seems to have dragged our concept down is the 'too high' donations & costings. Although - to be quite honest - I completely disagree with this. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...n?ref=category This is a MUCH smaller game, yet its goal if $500,000. I would say that our $150,000 is a LOT more realistic than £30,000 for a console game!! |

Katie, what on earth are you talking about? The space idea was very popular and not once did you suggest going with the mental asylum. I said I liked that idea too and you didn't say a word. We ALL agreed the space and murder mystery were both popular so you're actually talking crap.
And you like to ignore the amount of work other people do, what you submitted wasn't that great. The majority of the pitch was Jess'. You're just so negative and hard to work with, I don't know why you feel the need to be like this. |

However, the feedback and the interactions I've seen suggest you have ignored Tyjet's advice about how you interact with people. From what we've seen, you seem to clash with someone - usually your PM - EVERY week. |

I am going to be honest and say I don't disagree with anything on the pitch. Everyone put in a tremendous amount of work and it was a great final product!

I think our idea is a really strong one, the only real thing I think could be wrong is our pricing - £30,000 is a little low.

However, the link you cite isn't the best example - Leisure Suit Larry is an established franchise, and would therefore gain much more consumer interest.

Also, there was a lack of communication as mentioned before, which meant we didnt recieve the full pitch 10-20 minutes before we were meant to post so we didnt have enough time to improve and change aspects. |

I do think our goal seemed a bit low but getting that amount of money to kickstart a new game would surely interest investors. It's a lot of money for something that isn't established. Maybe we should have asked for a little bit higher but all in all, I feel it was somewhat realistic.

As you may recall, the initial brief requested that both teams maintain a dual focus on originality and realism. Do you believe that your team succeeded on that front? (This is once again to both teams.)

Yes, the three of us have all agreed that you work very hard indeed; I believe contacting the DS game posters was your idea too this week and that was an amazing idea.
However, the feedback and the interactions I've seen suggest you have ignored Tyjet's advice about how you interact with people. From what we've seen, you seem to clash with someone - usually your PM - EVERY week. I'm quite interested to know exactly what Louise did on this task. No one's even seen the logo "you made." Me and Jess did the pitch, I did the whole reward scheme thing, me and Jess made logos, Jess's logo got chosen, Gavin did the concept. I'm genuinely confused to what Louise actually did in this task and the last task as well. It feels like to me Louise doesn't want to be here any more. |

Realistically, our game WOULD be cheaper to fund than a console game (because you have to buy permission etc to get in to the console in the first place) however I think our product is a lot closer to the line than the other teams. However - I do stand by what I say that although I disagree with it, it does seem to be a weakness as a lot of other people seem to be pointing it out as the weak area. |
