Hi Katie, thought you where great on Apprentice and should not have gone Week 6. Adam should have gone or Azhar.

Maybe try and get the other ex candidates to sign up on the forum so we can chat with them too

I say eliminated when I mean fired, Maybe its because I am seeing the Apprentice more as a game show

[quote=The Rhydler;58022601]Week one is a major baptism of fire. No one wants to be first fired. Fortunately you dodged it. Biliyana decided to mouth off at Lord Sugar. Not wise [quote]

That was a cover - she is taking the CISI Masters in Wealth Management and is a grad entry to a private bank. Her business plan would be some "new" way of advising wealthy people on how to invest - Sugar has advisers to do that already. Likewise, it would appear that Katie is a Politics PR girl, so if her plan was something in that sector, he would not be interested.

Yeah this was Laura who invented a clip on riot shield to assist drowning children in the bath. All because her children splash a little bit of water when they are in the bath. Would the better answer be .. not to have children .. after all they will be too beautiful for the business world.
I think Laura knew herself that it was a crap idea. It's pretty difficult to come up with an innovative new product, and no-one else had come up with anything at that point. Once another idea (the tap cosy) was suggested, she didn't really push her idea, especially after the focus group didn't like it.

Ha- 'Bland Assassin'- I love it

I really don’t ever remember calling myself that- I obviously DID. There is something about the Apprentice that makes the most normal people rhyme and make cringe worthy statements of pure crap, Take me as a perfect example. I promise that I have NEVER introduced myself as ‘the blonde assassin’- I work in politics so would probably be marched out of any building by security at the very mention of ‘assassin’ 
Next thing you'll be telling us that Azhar isn't really a killer whale!

Katie, if you're still about, I take it you guys discussed your business plans? Whose was the best in your opinion (not including yours and I know you can't tell us what they are)

Who do you think will win and who do you want to win

Many thanks in advance

The fired candidates are eliminated from the competition.

Agree, I want to ask Ricky if he was being fake in the interview sections "I am the reflection of perfection" please. It is a shame cause Ricky is a good candidate IMO and does not need that BS Stuart Baggs rubbish

I am still reading but I keep telling myself not to! I have been attacked by people online and it is only a matter of time! BUT thank you everyone on here for being so kind . To answer some questions:

Still in contact with everyone but Jane- but she does live inIreland!

I absolutely know I am not a celeb- I have a normal job and had a bit of fun on the Apprentice

I will never winge about the edit- it works both ways. Dependant on the story you get a good OR bad edit. It's all just great fun! The only shame is that, as a business show- your personality doesn't shine in quite the same way. Obviously that's what the Dara show is all about

I honestly never knew my facial express would be used- I am so conscious of it now

I really wasn't annoyed at OP for any of this. Me and my friend just thought it would be fun!

I have no desire to do any media (sounds strange I know) but I have found The media experience quite sleezy. Think about it, you wouldnt prostitute yourself for money, steel or obtain money by fraudulent activity? (she says hopefully) BUT all morals go out of the window with 'fame'- other candidates sell stuff on you, you get offered money to be 'accidentally' naked etc etc. I think this is a safe attitude to have since I am a week 6 candidate! Not exactly going to set the world alight!

Happy to live in my own little crazy world!

Honestly- you are all a joy!

Katie

P.s- nievely I don't think that Telegraph article is that bad about me! No need to respond on this point
Oh dear Katie - your spelling and punctuation is not good.

Katie - I thought you were brilliant and always looked so pretty and approachable.

You shouldn't have been fired (IMO) and I thought you were fantastic.

Good luck in everything you do!

I meant nothing of the sort - had I wished to use the plural I would have said "Your spellings and puncutation are not good."

The biter bit springs to mind.

It reeks of scraping the barrel to put someone down imo. It's hardly the crime of the century to not have perfect spelling / punctuation.

You resurrect an old thread for that?! Thank you anyway - I didn't realise anyone off of the TV ever responded to Digital Spy threads.

Tell that to PorkSausage - though it's always a good idea to check facts before attempting to take the high ground.

Forgive me for resurrecting this thread - it's been a long time since I ventured onto The Apprentice so I missed PorkSausage's attempt at irony and couldn't resist taking the opportunity to respond and justify my comments.

Is that petty? Guilty m'lord - now give me 100 lines and I assure you they will be presented beautifully written with impeccable grammar and spelling.

Contrary to your assumption that no one 'off of' TV responds to DS threads it seems Katie did just that - thus exposing herself to both approval and criticism. You've surely heard of that old adage "If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen:" If Katie wasn't aware of this idiom before she ventured onto DS I'm sure she is now.

Pedant that I am I can't resist pointing out that 'off of' is ungrammatical - try using from.

Not wishing to fan the flames but it's punctuation not puncutation.
However I appreciate it is very easy to get these things wrong when typing on a mobile or tablet device rather than using a proper keyboard.

I asked for that - though in my defence I did spell punctuation correctly in the post that initiated this exchange.

Believe me I am too; hence the 'wink' after 'off of'. But I knew (hoped) you wouldn't be able to resist correcting.
