Connections Conections connections
Just purchased Panasonic SCHT05 Home theater system and DMR55E DVD Recorder.I have a Pioneer STB and a 32" Toshiba TV.I now have what must be the most connections to choose from in the entire universe. Is there a Wizard out there that can guide me through to get the best from this lot. BEW

I don't know exactly how your system is (other than the E55 which I have) but it would go something like this (make all inputs/outputs RGB). STB TV out (RGB) scart to E55 AV2 E55 AV1 to TV RGB in scart. that lets you record off the set top box. If your TV has 2 RGB scarts connect DVD to the other one. If not you can connect via the STB VCR socket (if it has one), that just means you wont be able to record STB to DVDR while watching DVD, you could use S-Video for a slightly lower quality connection if you need this function. For the speakers etc, the manual should be clear. |

First thanks for your help.
If TFM was any good do you think I would waste your time.... I think not. Is there any way I can copy the docs and let you see them ?? Last edited by bigemptywallet : 08-11-2004 at 15:50. Reason: spelling error |
