Does anyone remember, or perhaps had anything to do with 91 Park Street Horsham ? I would like to get a " remembrance" group together.
Cheers

Wrong forum perhaps? Exactly the same thing has been posted in a 'British TV shows' thread here http://pakistantvdekho.com/showthrea...written-update

I don't understand the British TV Shows post I am afraid. 91 Park Street, Horsham was the address of the Southern Independent Radio Association (SIRA) in the 1970s

That website appears to be lifting random posts on DS and copying them as if they refer to obscure TV shows. Not entirely sure why though.

IIRC, Michael Mayhew was one of the main people behind SIRA, he posts under his real name on the Pirate/Free Radio forum most days:

Mark Dezzani (Europa Productions / Radio Caroline South in Italy) was behind that address.

He also does videos for Riviera Life.tv, there's an interesting one he did on Tom Anderson about his time on Caroline - HERE

I still have a pile of SIRA magazines from the early 70's. Some very good articles in them and always sure to take you back to the heyday of land-based pirate radio.

91 Park Street.

Yes, I seem to remember living there for quite a few years! Mark Dezzani got his parents to drive by when he was just 10 yrs.old, but he was too shy to knock!
