She was still acting well into her nineties. What an amazing woman.

You mean the Lords Temporal, those members of the House of Lords that sit in a secular capacity (ie, as contrasted with the Lords Spiritual)?

I always assumed that was where the name came from, whether consciously or not.

Zohra Sehgal is fantastic! One helluva woman, and still acting at the age of 100.

Such a shame that her DW appearances are now lost, but she can be seen in plenty of films playing sharp-tongued grannies (East Is East, Bend It Like Beckham, etc).

Sadly Zohra Sehgal died earlier today at the age of 102
