I know it's a chain and American but I went to one of these in Cancun and it was a great place, really friendly staff and nice food. I am looking forward to this!

I wonder if it's the same one I went to at Cancun airport. Felt sorry for the staff as if you wanted to call a waiter over you had to flip this sign on the table and they would have to say 'stop forest stop' and sound really pleased about it. Food was Ok and it was certainly an experience

Brilliant news, it's my favourite American chain. Great to have one in Leicester square too, the quality of affordable restaurants in the West End is dire.

Here's the American menus. I hope the portions are just as big, i could never manage to get onto dessert

Will be interesting to see what the prices are like. Most American chains that come over here spoil it by charging double what the U.S. restaurants charge.

Then there's the American view on service (that it should be excellent) which will either a) not materialise or b) piss Brits off.

Yay. Loved Bubba Gump in Santa Monica. We still have the flashing cups and glasses we got from there. I wonder if you'll get given a glass at the London one.

I'm sure i read that Bubba Gump are not opening in London anymore. Will have a search for the article. Very disappointed, if true.

EDIT - Some conflicting info on this site. Lets hope it does open.
