I absolutely cannot stand Arg. The way he laughs at everything he says just irritates me. Whoever told him he was funny needs slapped. He really needs to grow up.

I don't think the murder mystery party was meant to be funny, I think it was meant to spark arguments (given the attendees). However it failed miserably on both fronts.
Arg is just a silly little boy who in some silly attempt to brag or impress his mates embarrassed not only Gemma but himself. He really doesn't seem to have any care for her feelings. He needs to be axed and Gemma needs to stop throwing herself at someone who seems to think of her as someone to laugh about with his mates. Joey really suprised me (and James by the look of it) with his grown up and mature attitude. I think he really might be moving on / growing up. Mario is still a sleeze but that Dan has gone right down in my estimation. I think he has never been split from Megan and marbella was him seeing his chance for screen time and profile raising and taking it. First with Jasmin then switching his attention when Lucy turned up. Would have had much more respect for him if he'd said to Lucy that he and Jasmin had a friendly drunk snog but there was nothing in it then calling her a little bi**h. And I do think its true as he didn't deny it when speaking to Jasmin and seemed shifty. |

Joey is many things but not mature. I just think that he doesn't like drama.
The murder dinner was so boring no one was saying how they felt. Arg is taking advantage of Gemma and everyone thinks its funny. |

I always get the impression the unsaid stuff about Joey and Sam is domestic violence.
Mario being his narcissist self as always. |

The murder dinner was painful ... such an unplesant undercurrent ... I actually thought it was all going to turn really nasty any moment. You could have cut the atmosphere with a knife ... Horrible!!!

. I feel bad for Gemma, she clearly has low confidence and self respect, which Arg takes advantage of when, in reality, she just wants to be loved more than anything. I'd love her to find love. |

Mario being his narcissist self as always. Agree about the double standards i.e Lucy/Mario, but Lucy does try to be so prim and proper when the reality is very different. I think many of the cast view Lucy as a bit of a bike and incredibly false. Mario is one sad a... though. Does Sam where dentures? Her mouth and lower part of her face look 'caved in' making the bottom half of her face quite unattractive. |

I agree. It would explain why Chloe dislikes Sam so much. (Although Sam and billie have became worse for insulting). I genuinely do believe that is the reason. I work in PR and from a PRs point of view, her team got wind of it and her announcing on the show (her main fanbase) was an instruction from her team which would have played down the situation.
I feel bad for Gemma, she clearly has low confidence and self respect, which Arg takes advantage of when, in reality, she just wants to be loved more than anything. I'd love her to find love. The Sam and Joey situation was discussed frequently in the last series by Joey, Frankie and Chloe. So why didn't he dump her then? Why wait for this series? I think he tried his hand at PR when he dumped her at the beginning of the series in the hope that the whole story came out. I don't think he was the only one who planned it. His family were probably involved. Hence the DM article, which also said that members of his family were peed off that it wasn't on the show. Their quest for revenge has made them look a nasty bunch. If the DV story is true then it is appalling and Sam is in the wrong but quite rightly it wasn't revealed on the prog. That's not what TOWIE is about. I absolutely agree with you about Gemma. She desperately craves love and affection. Arg and his mates constantly take the p out of her. She needs to put those little prats in their places. |

Agree, and I think this is why Chloe has not been her usual self lately. She actually looks quite down and is obviously very angry with Sam's treatment of Joey. I think the abuse has been known for a while, but kept out of the show. I've also noticed that Frankie is hardly in any scenes anymore, obviously connected.

I agree. There must be more to this for the Essex family to be so upset and angry. Shame it made them look bad. And the saying goes... The truth will out. Shame on the producers! |

Isn't the truth that Sam was hitting Joey? That's vile if it's true. But there's no way this could be discussed on TOWIE. It's far too sensitive an issue.
The whole thing has been driven by the Essex family's desire for revenge and now they are resentful because they failed. There's nothing wrong with family being upset, I don't blame them but to try and use TOWIE as a means to expose the whole issue is just plain nasty. The DM article says that Joey didn't want the specifics to be made public. His family should have respected this. By not showing any details, TOWIE have dealt with this quite appropriately. To give air time or to print the Essex family claims could lead to civil and/or criminal legal actions. That's not what TOWIE would want. Finally, if these allegations are true, I really hope Sam regrets her nasty actions and at least tries to make some amends off-screen. |

I can't imagine anyone watching this would seriously want to be in touching distance of Arg, Joey, Mario or Ricky
Only characters I like are Chloe, Diags, Billie and Nanny Pat |

So many of the characters appear to have quite considerable emotional/personality issues, assuming they are being themselves on the show.
I wonder if it's a case of never being told 'no' and being treated like princes' and princess' all their lives, so now they can't deal with many real life problems as well as having no boundaries to control their emotions or behaviour. Of course to be clear, this can be just one reason for emotional instability. |

Is Gemma saying she slept with Arg at the end of the last episode? He wasn't wearing anything then and now she's on about how she unbuttoned his shirt? I think I must have missed something..

Also how unrealistic that Mark wouldn't be invited to his parent's vow renewal...
Just like Dan's MJ party where basically all of the cast were invited. The producers invite them, not the cast. |

From what I've read the Wright's are a pretty big family yet there only appeared to be jess at it. That's weird. I could get that Mark might have been away for work but all of their kids couldn't make it? I`m guessing Dan's been sacked and we're left with that other guy.
