Mario is pure sleeze and very shallow.

Tom P is just yuck and I really don't see the attraction...sweaty armpits within 5 minutes of putting on a t-shirt??? Attractive!

Joey...well he's just thoroughly stupid and I cannot for one minute see that Sam really could love such a dull boy.

Charlie is creepy..seriously seriously creepy.

And the other hangers on and spotty oinks are fast forwarded over so couldn't comment.

I do still hold a tiny little candle to Mick but do wish he'd find himself a nice woman HIS age and stop trying to be with the 'kids'.

So basically TOWIE has some strong, entertaining women (excluding Lauren P who I just cannot bare to watch with those teeth and the lack of expression!). Make a nice chance actually to be able to say the women show themselves off better than the men!!

Gemma is a star and I do wish she'd get out of that relationship..why she split from the fella before I'll never know, he was adult and good looking and Arg is just...neither of those things!!”

I so agree..The Men actually boys in Towie are just awful.

He was an actor brought in to be her boyfriend for one episode

Wow great sexism on the forum and the girls are that much better?

Lauren G does nothing but shout at people and get in arguments.

Lucy is a puppet that just says 'yes mario, I believe you mario' even though her bf is about as trustworthy as the mafia. She's obviously pretty dumb too.

Gemma is a woman whose manic, she's happy and loud one second, next minute she's shouting her horn off or crying uncontrolably.

Lydia brings nothing to the show, she is beyond boring and her current bf, suits her, they should be called mr and mrs grey.

Lauren P and Chloe, only redeemable females on the show.

Arg is great as a role model because he's honest, emotional and where's his heart on his sleeve. He's come a long way since Mark left and Lydia broke up with him. He's growing before our very eyes, he carries the show.

BIB1 - Couldnt agree with you more, LP and Chole are the nicest and best girls on the show. Every scene they are in I find enjoyable, and it does help that I think LP to be the most fine and sexiest lady on the show, so always good to like something that looks good too.

As for Arg Are we watching the same show (Im kidding, each to their own) but the way he has been talking to Gemma, and knocking her confidence down, they way he talks to Lydia, she has a right to be angry and to tell Gemma. Lydia went through alot with him, and he cheated on her multiple times, and she doesnt want a sexy confident lady like Gemma to make the same mistake as she did. Her approach might of been more subtle to Gemma, but it was all coming from a good place. Arg = Tool in my eyes. And thats an insults to tools one might add.

Because I am not keen on the men/boys in Towie dos'nt make this a sexist post...I don't particularly like the women either but I do find the men extremely overly childish and boyish.......

Well poor old Bobby

That Jess is a sneaky one. Such a hypocrite. And she's a moody cow.

This Gemma 'pregnant' rubbish is too pathetic.

Love Joey & his crew lol.

Glad Jess has been exposed - sneaky so and so. She just used him for a story line. She is so boring and jealous.

Good that Tom P told Lauren G what she's been up to. Poor Ricky, puts himself out there and for what. The whole Wright family need to go - nanny Pat was the only interesting one but she seems off the boil recently.

Glad to find out a bit more about Charlie - he's basically worked flat out for last 6/7 years on 12 hour days and explains why he's missed out on lots.......

Feel for Bobby.

Was very shocked to hear LG saying about having a termination, I'm not sure why...I just wasn't expecting it I guess.

Poor Bobby and poor Ricky! I knew Jess was a scoundrel!!

Very 'explosive' episode. Loved it!

I just don't get it why do they have each others number? Have they even talked? I actually like Ricky now he seems to have done the opposite of arg and came in an idiot then got better whereas arg is still annoying

I don't believe Bobby has any feelings for Charlie. In fact most of it is so unbelieveable these days, I know some of its set up but I'm sure thats getting more and more.

Charlie referred to Bobby as his best friend. As I remember, Charlie came into the show as someone who Gemma had randomly met and Bobby was one of Chloe's friends. The idea of them being best friends would be believable if that had been set out from the start. Correct me if I'm wrong about their introductions there.

I find it somewhere between funny and annoying when the cast talk about "everyone in Essex". It's as if Essex is solely inhabited by them and their families!

IIRC Bobby came in to Lydia's shop when she first opened it and introduced himself. They immediately became "friends" and he became part of the group. And the "you know what Essex is like" as if we are an alien race unrecognisable to the rest of the country

Yes I know they give the "some of it is set up for your entertainment" disclaimer but come on, I dont think there's one genuine relationship:
Jess/Ricky - she looked totally disinterested when he was "baring his soul"
Gemma/Arg - really? so she had her (Arab?) boyfriend who was seen once then never mentioned again and we are now meant to believe these 2 are a couple
Lauren (x2)/Tom P - would these women who have a bit of cash and success behind them want to date a boy? More likely to go for a slightly older, rich bloke
Lydia/Tom - So he was apparently dating his sister's mate out of the blue after years of knowing her. That just fizzled out so he could conveniently be paired with Lydia
Lots of for me

BIB1 - Amen to that, while both of them, are what I believe are homosexual men, I do think there is a friendship that has happened. Best-friendship? Bit of a stretch in my eyes. BIB2 - Compared to the earlier series, it is gettting more and more set up, but, for me, it has lost none of its appeal and is still a tv highlight of the week while it is on. Sidenote, while I found Joey really entertaining at first, over this current series, there is something missing with him. He's just not been as entertaining as he was in previous series. And I dont expect him to go the other way and get more entertaining then he is at the moment tbh.

I dont always watch this so could someone explain please, Lauren pulled out Jess's hair!?

To me it just looks like its thinning, it happens to some ladies in late twenties

Is the Charlie becoming one of the lads storyline all just a prelude for Charlie to say 'Actually, lads, I don't like kebabs, I don't like pints and you know what, I don't like girls either' . .

and walks off into the sunset with Bobby? I'm sure the producers are looking for a big storyline and maybe this is it. His embracing of his inner bloke just seems a bit forced and cringey. Nice enough fella that he is.

Kirk needs to go. Did he seriously ask Sam last week which date Christmas Day fell on?

Jess and Lauren had a fight a few months ago, and Jess cut Lauren's lip, and Lauren pulled jess's hair.

However Jess is saying that her hair isn't growing back because of Lauren . Lauren is saying she's always had a problem with thinning hair.

I think Jess and Tom got on because they're seen as the 'educated' ones because I think they both have degrees.
Seen them talk to each other a few times on twitter.

They're not close though, so if she has been sexting, then it's a bit dodgy.

This is what I've been thinking and I put it down to the fact that he's back with Sam. I don't know why but he's very different when he's with her.
