A to the Men! When I saw Kirk, I was shocked to say the least. But would struggle to imagine Amy back on the show. Her coming back, would seem really weird compared to Kirk. I dont know how to put it in the best way, but Amy's parts on the show, in hindsight, seem a little bit... dated. She is part of the earlier time of the show, and that whole 'Shut uuuuup' seems like it wouldnt fit now, nor would Harry's return would suit. In terms of TOWIE, Amy and Harry seem more like relics then anything that could be part of the current cast of TOWIE. As much as I liked Amy (not Harry though!) there just isnt a place that they could fit in. They were good for a while, but the show has moved on, its just not the show for them anymore in my eyes.

So true. She was needed to "set the stage" but they are just too much like cartoon characters to fit in now. I think I need to watch series 1 again just to enjoy how rubbish it was. It is still terrible now and that is part of the joy but it has come on leaps and bounds.

It reminded me more of the hills, actual real situations edited into storyline, the last few series seemed like false storylines created and scenes forced to show them.
Chloe looked great tonight with her longer hair.

Why is Bobby talking to gemma?
As infuriating and irritating as she is, props to gemma for forcing her way centre stage, considering she started selling kirk a car, was wedged into Amy and harry scenes, then lumped with the twins, she's worked her unhinged arse off to take over the show.

I agree. If Amy came back, she would be overdoing the "Shuuut up!" catchphrase, as it the viewers would expect it from her, given its previous popularity.

What was weird last episode was the fact Kirk seemed so out of the loop about everything. Surely he still watched Towie while he was off the show and he would have seen all the cast around Essex anyway.

Amen, Amy and Harry were perfect to set the scene, and start the show at starter level. It has evolved so much. I started watching series two, and then got series 1 on DVD and was shocked. Even from 1 to 2 there was a marked improvement.

Completely agree with this. What on earth is going on? Last night I actually liked Gemma! She's the old Gemma again. She constantly looks like she's trying to hold in a laugh which is annoying but I think that's nerves from being infront of the camera as she's always done that.

All in all though the best episode since Cara & Jess' argument imo. Loved the clubbing scene! Was nice to see all the girls out having fun instead of bitching and fighting. Frankie!

I think the removal of fake club scenes made it alot more enjoyable. There was less depressing story lines and there wasn't the awful Jess & Ricki and their 'relationship'.

That's because it's from FOOE (Fresh Out of Essex) the Towie mini episodes which are put on the website twice a week to keep the viewers up to date on what's been happening since the last series.
